There's a potential new character for Mafia, Sera Masumi, who was introduced in the manga not too long ago.

Spoiler: Files 768+

I would put her as a traveler (she's from America), with Protect and Investigate x2. What are your thoughts?

There is also a new police character.
But for the Mafia game we won't use spoiler roles. So new characters are not introduced until they appeared in the Anime and that episode is released here on DCTP.

to the suggestion, it'd sort of trivialize makoto (as she's him in every way, but with investigate), and as schillok said, it would be best to not include spoilery roles anyway.

I see. Well then, I'll remove her from the list. But let's keep her in mind.

How about this: Makoto > Ran > Sera. So Sera's protect has a 50-50 chance of failing.

And she won't know if she got tricked or not?

it shouldn't be a > thing though, it should be makoto=ran=sera.

as for random chance, maybe, but that seems a bit of a cop-out to me because I don't like random chances :V

Huh. Well, how about this:

Makoto success = fly out of Japan for 2 phases
Ran success = injured for 2 phases??
Sera success = injured for 4 phases. Can stay in Japan, but will not be able to vote/investigate.

Makoto success = fly out of Japan for 2 phases
Ran success = injured for 2 phases??
Sera success = injured for 4 phases. Can stay in Japan, but will not be able to vote/investigate.

if you're just trying to get sera into the game, that would be fine, but I think ran and makoto are fine the way they are, tbh.
