Re: Kogorous Riddle/Deduction Thread
Okay, competitors, the riddlemaker (that is me) is disappearing for a few hours. But do not fear to PM him (that is me) your deductions. He (that is me) will make sure to read it as soon as he (that is me) can. It's really interesting - will you be able to discover the culprit (that is not me) the way detective Takagi did?
See ya soon!

I took a while to finish everything, we went out for dinner and didn't get back tell about 7:30. I sent my deduction though.

I actually didn't think you'd have such hard time with this. But it's all the better for me. And for the spectators betting on their favourites.
Anybody knows how to contact Gosho and send him a mystery?

Re: Kogorous Riddle/Deduction Thread
Even in the manga Kogorou's first deduction is usually wrong. *eworm laughter* It's not over for you yet, looking forward to reading your next solution.
Anybody else has the answer prepared?

Re: Kogorous Riddle/Deduction Thread
POSSIBLY IMPORTANT: There was a line in the riddle that seems to have been not very clear. Corrected now. When I wrote:
I meant Akito disappeared on Monday morning - the day after the murder - not on Tuesday, the day after police discovered the body. One of the suspected disappears the next day - Kentaro Akito.
Well, it would be pretty weird if the police have waited till Tuesday with the questioning, right? One of the suspected disappeared the Monday morning - Kentaro Akito. After questioning the rest of the assistants, police discovers the order in which they left that night

So the murder was Monday morning 1AM or Sunday 1AM ?eworm wrote: POSSIBLY IMPORTANT: There was a line in the riddle that seems to have been not very clear. When I wrote:

It's late now and I will think about that tomorrow.
But still there seems to be something missing...

Re: Kogorous Riddle/Deduction Thread
The murder took place on Sunday-Monday night. It's not exactly known if it happened on Sunday or on Monday already. The janitor says he found the body at 1AM Monday. So if the murder happened on Monday (and the janitor isn't lying) it was before 1AM.
Nothing's missing. It's the other way round - there are some unimportant (misleading) things.
BTW - Kogorou, is it necessary to use quoting to answer the last post? ;)
BTW2 - When the Ultimate Deduction Showdown is over I'll post all of the deductions here in chronological order, I think. Is that okay with you, detectives?
