Re: Kogorous Riddle/Deduction Thread
having looked up the riddle online, I'm pretty sure that's the answer you're supposed to get, so you should just post a new one anyway.

Re: Kogorous Riddle/Deduction Thread
Okay, here's the next one then:
101 - 102 = 1
By moving only one digit, make the equation correct. You may not move or alter the minus sign, nor the equals sign. You also may not exchange two numbers, as that would be moving two digits.

Re: Kogorous Riddle/Deduction Thread
With best regards from xpon
I use this because it's cool
Monday Morning at Beika University, a dead body was found by the janitor. The victim is Prof. Windshield (57 y.o). The victim was last seen on sunday evening on a work group with his assistants.
The names of his Assistant is:
1. Fumiko Nishino, Female, 21 y.o
2. Sasaki Kitaoji, Male, 23 y.o
3. Nagare Higashion, Female, 21 y.o
4. Tomochi Minami, Male, 22 y.o
After Further investigations, it's revealed that the victim died because of 3 stabbing wound in his back. When he was found, his right hand is clenching tightly around a world map. the map stained with blood. His Left hand was inside his pants pocket and holding 3 more items but none of them is blood stained. The 3 item are a booklet with a sunrise picture, a photo of him looking at sunset, and a ticket for FIFA World CUP 2010 final match.
The Police want to check the Alibi of all suspect (the janitor and all 4 assistant) but Suddenly Conan came and say that there is only 1 person who need to be interrogated.
The police, Kogorou (Oi!) and all the suspect were shocked...
Do you know who the culprit is?

Re: Kogorous Riddle/Deduction Thread
Sorry for not being around a bit. Of course the c-square's answer for my riddle was correct.
Was the weapon left at the crime scene? Did the situation happen before or after FIFA World Cup 2010? Is any knowledge of Japanese required to solve the riddle?

Re: Kogorous Riddle/Deduction Thread
The weapon is there but no fingerprint was found.
The situation is 2011 so after the World Cup 2010.
Little knowledge of Japanese would help.

Re: Kogorous Riddle/Deduction Thread
Okay... I'll leave aside how absurd it was for the victim to have such items in his pockets, especially the one year-old ticket...
