One day a man was walking through the streets tiredly when he saw a small fruit shop. There he saw an apple and mango. Which fruit did he buy and eat?

So he ate no fruit? Or are the reasons wrong?

Spoiler: This is it!  The real answer, I'm sure of it!
Since it's a small fruit shop, the shop should only sell small fruit.  The mango is more of a medium fruit, so he was suspicious of it.  Thus, he chose to buy and eat the apple.  ;)

Maybe...
Spoiler:
if he said "mango", the man selling the fruits would misunderstand and go away (or punch him in the face for his insolence?), so he bought an apple..?

Okay, here's the riddle.

A was a director of a museum in New York. When one of the priceless pictures was supposed to be delivered to San Francisco's big exposition, A decided to do it himself taking three trusted guards with him. But on the day he was leaving to San Francisco, old B - the museum's night-watchman - approached A and asked if he was going to take a 9PM plane. When A confirmed it, B begged him to take another one. He told A that he had a dream that night - a dream in which that very plane crashed. A was hesitant, but eventually he took the next plane. After arriving in San Francisco, he learnt of the accident of 9PM plane. It crashed, just as B saw in his dream. A was shocked. He called C - the museum's vice-director - and told him to give B 40000$ and then... fire him immediately.
Why did A told C to fire old B?
