Well, it's been a long and difficult journey for our heroes. In the hopes of inheriting an Upsidaisium mine, they've braved many dangers and lost several of their number to mine shafts, falling boulders, Canadian poison, and all manner of other dangers placed in their path by the sinister xpon and Sherlock3. Speaking of the two villains, they can at this moment be found crouching behind a bush at the side of the path, waiting for the travelers to pass them.
Sherlock3: What is evil plan for today, darling?
xpon: Oh, you know. Just little something I cook up off top of my head.
Sherlock3: Be careful darling, you burn yourself.
xpon: Meh-heh, is nothing to do with fire. I only put piece of paper on trail. Watch and see.
And as our heroes approached, pofa bent down and picked up the paper xpon had fiendishly left on the trail.
Prof: What's that, pofa?
pofa: Why, it appears to be a map.
Prof: A map? To where?
pofa: To the top of the mountain!
Prof: That's great! I wonder who dropped it?
pofa: Maybe someone who wants to help us claim what's ours.
xpon: Meh-heh, you get what is coming to you all right.
Prof: What was that?
pofa: Probably a cat.
And so the tired group of travelers trustingly followed xpon's deceitful map, not knowing that it was leading them not to the top of the mountain, but instead to...

miakakiri: A cave.
CaseClosed101: A big cave.
Schillok: Are you sure this is right?
Kleene: What does the map say?
Edo: I think we followed it correctly...
Kain: o.o;; *grabs Edo*
Kirbypepe: Why would he want to meet us in there?
Meme: ...I have a bad feeling.
Akonyl: There's basically no way to get a good feeling from this.
Holmes: Should we go in?
Parkur: Why not?
We were invited.And Parkur strode confidently into the cave, believing that inside was his ticked to riches and glory. However, what he found there was trouble of an altogether different breed:

Parkur: Oh myyyYYYY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-----
And as Parkur (Chiba) was killed in a bear attack that would eventually make its way onto The Colbert Report, the other travelers broke ranks and ran as fast as they could in any directon but inside. Only when they had stopped for breath did they realize that two more people were missing. After a brief argument, courage and compassion prevailed and the travelers crept cautiously back to the cave.
pofa: Is anyone in there?
Prof: Yell if you can hear us!
And from deep within the cave, two voices answered:
Xcommando: We're not dead.
breva: She's a nice bear after all!
Spoiler: bear hug
Xcommando: Ya, honestly I think it's safer in here.
And so the the bewildered travelers left breva and Xcommando, assuming they'd had good reason for acting as though they'd been arrested.
xpon: Well honeycake, it went not quite as I expected.
Sherlock3: It feels like good day's work to me, darling.
