"Parkur."

This is soooooo boring... Sigh, I shouldn't have attended Stalking 101... I wish the time would hurry up so I can ditch everyone else and treat Feenie to ice cream.

"Is Parkur absent?"

"Hey, hey, Parkur! Conia-sensei is calling you." bluekaitou whispered to his ear in an attempt to save him from being marked as absent.

"Eh? Oh. Sorry, Sensei."

"Daydreaming again? Parkur, we're in class you know. Evidently, you're here but your mind isn’t. This is becoming a bad habit of yours. You're one of the honor students, so don't let your guard down... blah.. blah.. blah.."

"Conia started with his incoherent babbling again." Parkur sighed.

"I'm sure that topic will lead to a bush sometime later." Kleene laughed.

"Or maybe to our dismissal." Yuriko giggled, eavesdropping from behind.

"Finally. Five minutes to four. Dismissal is near. We are going to be saved." hopeless rolled her eyes, then watched as the clock's minute hand move toward the Roman Numeral XII.

"When I was young, I saw a bush at my father's warehouse. I could tell that it wasn’t an ordinary bush just by looking at it... blah.. blah.." Conia continued, oblivious to the fact that a quarter of his class was already annoyed and half of it was not paying attention.
 
Phoenix from third row facepalmed. "He had been telling us that for like, 53 times now since we had our first class exactly 53 days ago."

"Clearly our teacher has a shrub fetish." Akonyl said which caused the whole class burst into silent fits of laughter and giggles.

RRRIIINNGGG!!!

"Woohoo! Party!" bluekaitou quickly ran outside not a minute after the first bell ring.

"He forgot his things again, that idiot." hopeless then chased after him. "Kai, wait up!"

"Akoooo-chwan~" Kleene punched Akonyl, sending him flying towards a nearby bookshelf which in turn fell over him with a loud crash.

"Yuriko, I need to talk to you about your grades in my office."

"Hai, Conia-sensei!" Yuriko blushed while the rest of the class eyed Conia suspiciously.

Parkur waited after all of his classmates had left the room before standing up from his desk. After checking if his things were all in order he proceeded toward the room's exit, where Phoenix was waiting for him just like every other day. The two of them had been walking home together after class since their second week, when Parkur asked Phoenix out on a date; he was rejected, but that didn't stop him from forming a close bond with the resident red-hair. Moreover, everyone knew Parkur had a crush on Phoenix without him telling, it probably didn't help that they were in stalking class.

"Hey, Feenie, want to buy something on the way? Ichi-nee told me that there's a new ice cream parlor at the Central Square." Parkur asked Phoenix while they were walking on a nearby sidewalk inside the school grounds.

"Sure, why not." She responded with utter nonchalance.

The ice cream parlor was in fact a huge ice cream shop located in the center of town. Like any other newly-opened establishments the place was overcrowded with people wanting to try their special products. And thus, there was a long line of people, young and old alike, in front of it, waiting for their turn.

"I guess we're a bit late. Better luck next time."

"Awww... don't say that Feenie, I heard the ice cream here is really awesome. It can be worth the wait." Parkur frowned. He was given the chance to earn some points but now it was ruined.

"Well I'm not going to stand in line. I might as well go home without you if you really want the ice cream."

"Eh?! Wait! I'll do it! I'll stand in line and you can wait there in the shade. I'll be there in a minute." Parkur quickly ran off, not giving her a chance to decline his proposal.

Unfortunately for him he didn't get the ice cream within a minute, but in sixty. After paying for two strawberry deluxe he hurriedly went to Phoenix to give her the treat. He found her waiting in a nearby bench, reading a book.

"Here you go!"

Parkur sat beside her in a not-so-close but close enough position, and under the tree on that newly-painted white bench they ate their ice cream silently. Not one of them uttered a single word. It might've been the luscious taste of the ice cream that rendered them speechless, or neither had something to say. It might be both.

It took another half an hour for Parkur to speak. "Feenie."

"What?"

"You have a bit of ice cream on your nose."

"O-oh..?" Phoenix blushed. He was taken aback, he never once saw her blush, and it was cute. It was a rare sight. And he knew, on that exact moment of his life, that it was love

Parkur pulled a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped the ice cream off, Phoenix still blushing all the while. For an spectator it was a scene straight from a teenage romance movie. For a stalker it was good blackmail material. For a noob writer it was a scene he can never pull off without ruining the moment. For nomemory, it was just another thing to forget.

"Hmm..."

Then, almost without warning, she leaned close to him, her hands on his knees, her nose almost touching his. She stared at his eyes. Parkur felt his cheeks heating up and he knew he was blushing furiously. He must've been as red as a tomato.

"W-What?! I-Is there something on my face?" He nervously asked. Her stare never faltered, however it grew more intense. "Feenie—"

The moment her lips touched his, the world stopped moving.

"Thanks for being sweet, Parkur."
