I asked her. And she said she wasn't the one that was attacked. (I assumed she was when she said "thank you healer/protector", so I told her my role. D: Yeah, I messed up. Ooops.)
And pofa's text doesn't point to anyone actually being protected or healed.

Which makes me suspect that the killer was tricked. Just my opinion. :3

End of Day 1

Well, things appear to be looking up. Last time our heroes narrowly escaped a fiery death in the wreckage of a driver-less bus. Fortunately for them, or perhaps not-so-fortunately, Central Control has placed undercover operatives among the passengers that they are unwilling to sacrifice at this time. It is for that reason that xpon and Sherlock3 saved the bus from certain destruction, only to realize too late that xpon carried a live bomb in his hands.

xpon: Oh, noâ€”

xpon and Sherlock3 stared in horror at the bomb, but when the fuse ran down, there was no explosion.

Sherlock3: What happened to bomb?
xpon: Aaagh, we use company technology, is totally unreliable.

Meanwhile the passengers gathered outside the bus to discuss how to get to Mt. Flatten.

pofa: It looks like the bus is almost out of gas. And I had to edit this part because I forgot someone in the cameos again. T_T
Prof: Does anyone even know how to drive a bus?
Kleene: So we have to walk? :V
Xcommando: Iâ€™ll carry someoneâ€™s luggage.
Schillok: Which way is the mountain?
Parkur: Greeeat.

Thatâ€™s rightâ€”as impossible as it may seem, the passengers looked up to behold Mt. Flatten at lastâ€”floating thirty feet above the ground.

Prof: I wonder what could make it do that?
pofa: I wonder how weâ€™re going to get up there.
xpon: I will go see a closer look.
Sherlock3: Wait, darling. Let them go first. They step on land mines so then it is safe for us.
xpon: Meh-heh-heh! I wonder who they send first!

After a huddled discussion in which several passengers were volunteered, several of them went together to inspect the underside of the mountain. Amazingly, every one of them managed to perfectly avoid the land mines.

Yes, once again, nobody died! However, mysteriously enough, a certain police officer among the passengers seems to have been suspended for 24 hours.

xpon: This is disgrace! I fail twice to kill them!
Sherlock3: There is always tomorrow, darling.
