The intersection is also too well-lighted in the anime that it made Kaitou Kid seem stupid running around in his black cape for the trick. *hides from Kid's fans*ccppfan wrote: In Kaitou Kid's Teleportation Magic, THE OTHERS APPEARED IN THE ANIME, but they didn't in the manga.

Re: Differences between manga and anime thread
I've noticed these:
-In the first episode, the Murder suspect in the beginning of the episode killed his wife (in the manga) not his business partner. The Detective Boys also didn't appear in the Manga version. Finally, the manga actually shows the decapitated man instead of just a flashing light out of his head.
-Many of Conan's gadgets are introduced in different cases than they were in the manga.
-In the treasure map case, the part before the case with a Ran and Conan moment was removed. However, it was later added into Movie 4 (The part where Shinichi holds the Cola to Ran's cheek)
-In many cases, the amount of blood and gore is reduced in the anime, such as the Conan and Heiji case where a man was pushed onto the fence, in the anime, there was no blood...

Re: Differences between manga and anime thread
there is something that i always wanted to know.. someone please tell me..
what is the time difference between manga and anime, i.e. if some case releases today in manga, when it'll come out as anime?
And, is it necessary that anime contains all the manga cases? (i know converse isn't true)

Re: Differences between manga and anime thread
The anime version of each manga release is usually released within 3-6 months after the manga (depending on the case), however, many of the cases appear in an order different than the manga, especially the earlier cases. All manga cases have been converted to anime cases, with a few exceptions, one being that the Time Bomb Train case originally featured Gin & Vodka, but they were removed and replaced with look-alikes, and that Akemi's first appearance was messed up, so they redid it, and changed the plot slightly. I hope that answers your question.

Re: Differences between manga and anime thread
I have a tough time remembering what's what. In other words, I might remember a case, and a manga-based episode, but might mix up what happened in the manga version and the anime version. Coming to mind right off, is that in the first chapter when Ran and Shinichi went to the amusement park. When Ran was fussing at Shinichi about understanding how she feels, Shinichi was imagining the two of them kissing. I also think he imagined him telling her how he felt too. I don't recall that for the anime.

The 'how he feels' thing was shown in both, but the kissing part was... gone...? I think.ssjup81 wrote: I have a tough time remembering what's what. I noticed those diferences too, and i dont want to mess up because I want to watch the anime from the beggining, so what do you think is better????
1)Watch it as normal like : 1,2,3,4,5,6,7......
2)Watch it on manga order: 1,2,13,7,5,43....
