What's on your mind?

I always thought you'd get less affected as you grew older.

well, maybe when you're younger, but iirc most people are least effected in their late teens. Not all that sure why though, but I know othe people who can't drink quite as much as they used to. Though of course, for them it might just be that they're out of college and don't drink quite as much anymore. :P

I think it's just that you're used to getting shit-faced every weekend when you're ≈18.

I didn't even really drink much more often when I was in college than I do now. Though, back in college I drank more than I should have when I did, which was probably the culprit. :V

Yeah, it takes a few years to learn and acknowledge your limits. People remember how much they used to drink but not how they used to feel afterwards.

But that isn't true in my case, I have never had a hangover and I did drink more before. I simply get more drunk now and I drink less. Before I cold drink a bottle of wine and more and not feel a thing now I am tipsy after a couple of glasses of wine. And I did not drink more often before or now either.

well, you can avoid getting hangovers even if you drink a ton if you just keep yourself hydrated afterwards and takes vitamins etc. But, if you drank more before, it could simply be your tolerance fading away.

Also, I find that it's a lot easier to get dizzy via spinning around now than as a kid, so I think it's just easier to addle my brain now than it was back then. :P

Am I the only one who played Kinect and just thought "I had more fun with the Wii, frankly"?
