Looks like we now know the real reason why Ran and Sonoko where coming to Osaka.

Rewatching movie 4 the other day, and Sonoko's confession of love promise to always be Ran's friend while Ran is unconcious and has amnesia is totally this XD In the english version, she even says "I'll always be by your side"...
