I'm still currently using explorer, is there an advantage of switching to firefox... safari.... or some other browser?  Explorers been starting to annoy me so I was thinking it might be time to switch lol.

but i don't know why, suddenly ff began to get stucked, it was when i meet chrome, and that's it, chrome is the best browser for me, even tought there's others good ones, like opera  :)

Well My browser of choice is called Seamonkey. It was called the Mozilla Suite. I always like a browser with a mail program in it. I never say a reason to use two different programs. But then again I was a netscape user

I've used firefox for 3 years, so not really familiar with how IE has been lately. But I know firefox blocks all addons, better security, saves all passwords and data, etc.

If you're big on customization, firefox is for you cause it has a sh!tload of themes and addons/extensions.
I'll list some addons that I use if it helps you any,

Linkification: converts all text links into clickable links on the page (most helpful one IMO)
Download Status Bar: View and manage all your current downloads on a separate bar
Hyperwords: highlight any word on the page and do basically anything with it; translate into different language, define it, buy it, etc.
Media Converter: Download any video on a page and change it into any file format

Only negative thing I can think of is that it uses a ton of memory..

I've been using IE for most of my life and it isn't the worst program ever. But with the new upgade, it kind of sucks now. That's why I now use Firefox on most of my other computers.

However, I like Safari. Just not on a PC.

The reason why most people say Internet Explorer sucks is because it's so full of security holes. And it's the most famous web browser, which means the same as it being the primary target of cyber criminality, e.g. stealing passwords. Firefox has become well known over the last years, so it's a favourite target as well, but this browser is better protected against crackers. Moreover, Firefox supports most web applications and languages as well nowadays, just like IE always did. Opera on the other hand doesn't (but that's changing over the last years, since this one is becoming more popular too), but is because of it being less well known and an even better protection (hell yeah pop-up blocker! I LOVE that one, seriously) more secure. Netscape and SeaMonkey aren't very well known, and thus not an interesting target for cyber criminals.  The difference betwee FireFox and SeaMonkey is that SM is an all-in-one internet application suite, while FF is just one internet browser. The most secure browsers are those based on Linux or Apple technology, for the simple reason that they aren't well known and not used by many people.

Anyway, I use Opera because it's very safe (that pop-up blocker is really one of the best inventions ever), uses tabs so you can open many different web pages in one window (of course, the more tabs are open, the slower your computer works. That's normal, and it's only noticable from about 10-15 open tabs), and supports most internet languages nowadays. I do use FireFox as back-up browser 'though, because very rarely I discover something I can't open in Opera, and I have to resort to another web browser. And I'd rather die than use IE, Ad-Aware and Spybot always kept noticing spyware if I only had opened it once, it just doesn't block anything. And it's not like I can refrain to visiting safe web sites, that's impossible. Well, most spyware was still brought in by those new versions of MSN messenger, so I decided to keep to the basic MSN messenger, no matter how dull that one is. It sure pays off, it's been over a year since I had a virus, spyware or something malevolent, so I'm happy.

I alternate between Mozilla and IE.  Mozilla fuctions a lot better, but I've been having a lot of bugs with it that I need to work out.  It definitely runs a little faster and doesn't freeze up as easily.
