pofa wrote: My PO was "find the BO members that have traitor POs and expose them in a PM to the whole BO or kill them yourself and you can have their abilities (but not more than one a night). If the BO figure out what you're doing, you fail."

:P But there was no reward except to make the traitors fail their POs, and even if I did expose their POs or kill them, they'd still get their punishments for failing, which could just as well hurt us. I was right about the people who were the traitors (except for Beastly), but I never did find out their exact POs before they were killed by the town, who did my work for me...::)

@Akonyl: Well, I'd have told all of you in a private PM (Sorry Schillok, there was an obscene amount of behind-your-back PMing going on already), except that if I told a traitor and he told Schillok he knew, I'd have failed the PO. I assume it was the same for the rest of you.

@Parkur: All right. Let's put this behind us. I may have been lying to you since Night 1, but I would never, never have killed you until it served me.

THEN WHAT THE HELL WAS THE MATTER WITH YOU?

Anyway...:D What a round. Schillok, I'd like to have a word with you about these POs..::) At least three out of the eight BOs were working against us from the beginning. I assumed that, to even things out, some townies would have traitor POs too, but it appears I may have been mistaken...

@Parkur: Oh, you did not.  :-*
Don't worry. I dunno what Beastly did, but he always plays strange D:
::) LOL, beastly was the most obvious BO ever,... no wait, xpon tops that ::)

BTW, Kleene, to answer the question about how obvious you are? What do you actually mean by that?

@ BO of this round : Shoulda done that moment xpon totally kill Vermouth :P, I mean what is the deal with him anyway? I used my key on him 3 times, I was so sure he was BO, and yet he try killing another BO.....
Well, you said you'd know who's BO and who town :P that's what I'm asking :P
pofa wrote: @Kleene: We didn't exactly give up, except for Yurikochan just now, and she had her reasons. I really did try not to get lynched today, and I was for poisoning Beastly because I thought he was a lover and didn't want him to win without us. ::)

So you guys won honestly, it just went so badly this round that we didn't even have to forfeit for that to happen.
What was the reason? D:
And well, the BO had a bit of bad luck too D:

if we'd been allowed to tell each other what our POs were, maybe it woulda been a bit better, but yeah. Also, if they're anything like xpon's (which was the bomb), they were mostly killing based, which combined with the restrictions on who kills what night would make fulfilling them pretty difficult.
You didn't tell each other? D:

it was explicitly stated by Schillok that we weren't allowed to tell each other, and if we did we would fail our POs. So even if we did (I was too dead late in the game to receive any PMs really) it was against the rules to do so. :P

Sorry Schillok but I totally pegged you for a biased GM XD b/c of the PO Idea :P

1. I didn't think you guys would be allowed to tell the other your PO in the first place anyway, and personally, I think PO, since it would be given by the GM, it will be more or less affecting each side.
2. Leading to my point that BO, being their objective of the WHOLE game is to kill, and having to hold up a poker face, PO is not going to be an advantage considering their PO might as well will reveal them anyway. Town on the other hands have not much restriction on PO since their PO, even if it's a hindrance to their ability, they can still gain from it, and have no problem of completing POs without suspicions :P
3. The fact that players who traveled will be notify directly in the phase post? I don't get it? it should not have been that obvious?
4. xpon's way of playing is practically suicides for BO
In conclusion:
I'd rather the game stay originally with no POs, and back to vague hints, since there will be more town roles anyway, and PO is pretty one sided... :-\

We couldn't or we failed them. And like I said, if we'd done it behind Schillok's back (like xpon and Yuriko did), we couldn't be sure we weren't telling a traitor who would rat on us to Schillok.

Edit: I don't necessarily think the POs are a bad idea; I just think there were some balancing issues with them this round.

How does this calculator of yours work, anyway?

I thought the POs were a genuinely good idea, if it wasn't for the balancing issues. Maybe there should have been a lot more BOs to make up for that?
We don't make mistakes. We have happy accidents.

HAHAHA.... you cracked me up :P How does having a more concentration of Bo among a large number of townies help? I can bet you anything that it will further decreases BO chances of winning
PO is a good idea if you're town, what I believe is town has 1. Number advantage, 2. Identity advantage which balanced out with BO 1. Less number among more 2. Trust among members
And Po tipped the scale significantly, from my point of view

My Calculator based on keywords that are often used, and like a map it leads to the end result of U, N, and B

I see D:
Well, I liked the PO's (the town ones). But the BO had traitor PO's and it's already hard enough not to get discovered. And then even have a potential traitor is even worse D:
