What was the worst Dub Name Change in your opinion?

I have the manga volume that says "Sleeping Richard," I don't know where you read otherwise.

in the anime they call him sleeping sleuth and sleeping Sherlock. I am currently watching season 4 or I am positive that they use those names

Harry Wilder is the one I hate the most. I mean, when I was scrolling down and glancing at names, I had no clue who the heck Harry Wilder was until I read the bio.
Any guesses?

Good think they weren't able to get to his, Sato's, and Kazuha's names in the anime before the manga was printed. I'd be dying if I had to put up with Katie Thompson.

Now, the Hattori Heiji = Harley Hartwell doesn't bother me that much, but that might just be because The Mysterious Mr. Quinn is my favorite detective of all time. Although Conan is so much more like Quinn than Hattori is... *ignores the punnies that have been gnawing at her for months about comparisons*

Booker Kudo made me twitch.

Takagi's name made me die. I am now dead. Send in Sleeping Richard and/or the Junior Detective League to find out who murdered me.

Eh, most of the name changes don't strike me as too bas, considering there have been a lot worse. I like that they try to make some sound like the original names, like Rachel Moore or Joseph Meguire (both of which I admit to liking more than the original names) and whatnot. I don't like 'Harley' all that much (sounds weird; I actually didn't think that was a guy's name at first), nor do I like 'Mace Fuller', though Nakamori doesn't appear too often so I guess it doesn't bother me too much. Doesn't stop his name from being the worst I've seen so far, up there with Booker and ....

Wow. That's...pretty bad. Scratch that -- BAD bad. And he's my favorite character. Thank GOD that's not in the manga, or I'd rage like a friggin' whirlwind. And I'm not easily angered about changes like that.

Not to attract any rage here, but I actually kind of like this name for Satou. So I guess you aren't alone there; it may not sound anything like the original name, but it suits her in a very weird way. *shrug*

It's weird. I'm fine with a name like that on Satou, but "Harry Wilder" for Takagi...God damn. With that I get a bad taste in my mouth.

I don't know why, but I imagine they will probably call Satou Sarah. I don't like the name, but it just seems like something they would do.
Jennifer Green would be good. Jennifer Green and Harry Wilder.
