She's been in love with Agasa for 40+ years, and she thinks he's a granddad already... what a pity Did she make subsequent appearances?
And who is she, really? Is she just a fashion designer, or is there more than meets the eye? I've been pretty bugged by this issue ever since i read the chapter where she first appeared. I'm even thinking she may be related to the BO... Can anyone bring some light to this?

4) Agasa’s long lost love (412) Kinoshita Misa, ginko leaf brand name developer, whose appearance is a little surprising; she is anomalously young looking (for 49 or 50) has golden colored hair, and wears a dark grey low hat. She has one foreign parent. She has a stepdad named Billy. They look very similar to the people who Akai asked to follow Yukiko and the detective boys at the film studio in chapter 419. The name Billy suggests an American or at least English language connection which would fit make sense for FBI related people. Billy's line “I think the next time you meet will be much sooner than that...â€
xpon is so cute...
Even Ayumi~chan and Sera~chan love to hug him.....
Xpon beat me to the punch with my own post, so I'll put up some related discussions.

Who were trailing Conan and Haibara?
Spoiler:
Credit goes to Abs. for pointing this out... Kinoshita and Billy from Agasa's first love case (410-412)
Spoiler:
It can't be James Black and Jodie because Jodie doesn't smoke (I don't think James Black does either). It can't be Araide and his housekeeper because they are out of the country under protection. It isn't the Org because they were working with Akai. Kinoshita and Billy are the best picks left, especially since those characters were drawn conspicuously detailed compared to Gosho's usual shadowpeople and they look quite similar.

THe connection between Kinoshita Misa and Yoshiro is news to me. Interesting how magicians seem to be a recurring theme, quite a few of them appeared repeatedly. But why would they have anything to do with the BO?
The icing on this cake is that they are thrown in with Akai. They are most likely the people who followed Yukiko and the detective gang on Akai's orders during the Darkness in a Death Trap case. If Kaito Kid gets tied into the main plot, I'm hoping it's through this. Also I wondered if this is where Akai got advice on disguise from (if he didn't know it already): magicians in DC seem to all like disguises and the daughter of one seems like she might know a thing or two, even if the father died while she was young.

A couple things that point towards Subaru being not Shuichi, but rather his assisstant:
How did Shuichi get away from the Raiha falls? Conan and Agasa were occupied at the moment, his car was burnt and it's certainly too far to walk. Especially if you look like you have just been shot.
Maybe when he drove by earlier, he threw a bundle of spare clothes down the ravine to find later. We know he was there in advance for some time scouting out. Or an accomplice could have picked him up, if so probably the same ones who had the accident/ called the police.

Who alarmed the police with such perfect timing?
Another accomplice? I mentioned Kinoshita Misa and Billy earlier having ties to Akai. Maybe it's time for that [Chekhov's] gun to fire.
I just checked the German translation and he calls her Miss Fusae, so maybe the Japanese allows several readings. (The translation also says apricot leaves instead of gingko leaves for some unknown reason.)

The Indonesian translation also named her Fusae, not Misa
Now that we got this out of the way, let's talk about the implications of your theory (or has that already been done?).
How come a fashion designer is working for the FBI? Such a cover would be more fitting of the BO. What does it mean that her father may have been a famous magician?
How are we to interpret Billy's words in this context? Was he referring to Ai and Conan, whom they were tailing a few chapters later? Or is Agasa involved in another way? Why would Fusae want to wait 10 years if she's in Japan for a while anyway?
