Maybe she'll return as Shiho Miyano,she'll work for the FBI as a scientist,and since she was  a victim of the BO,FBI will erase her "crimes"...she'll stay at Akai's Agasa's house,stay close to Shinichi and the DB and start a new life in freedom.End of the story. 8)

No I really don't want her to stay as a child.it would be a stupid "happy ending"for her..

Well, she committed her crimes in Japan. Therefore, the FBI would have no authority about her in the first place. Only the Japanese government force could do something against her. However, without proof this might be difficult.

I have to say I don't know anything about FBI authority...I'm just guessing that Gosho will find a way for her to escape to the japanese justice,using FBI...considering Shiho lived a long time in USA I assumed that  FBI would have some authority on her,even if she committed crimes in Japan...
By the way,FBI try to stop the BO(which commited crimes in USA),and since she was part of them,(and she was an important member)I guessed FBI wouldn't make a difference between Sherry and other BO members...especially since Akai talked about her to his boss

hmmm,the thing that shock me the most is that people think she's so desperate that she prefer having a second childhood with the DB,instead of having new friends of her age if she take the antidote...
