You guys are forgetting that the only reason she tolerates studying with a bunch of 7 year olds is because Conan is there with her! If hes gone then she will be bored out of her mind and miserable. And bluekaito if you rewatch the first DB movie case then you'd see her complaining bout how she hates seeing herself in that body. I should rewatch it myself I don't remember all that well.

and no I'm not closing my mind to all other possibilties its just all other possibilities are wiggity wack!

However, this was in the first movie. Her character and opinion towards her current life have changed a lot during the series.

Huh first movie? She wasn't in the first movie O_o? Was she?

I guess she has changed but other than starting to like the DB I don't see any change in her not liking her body.

May I remind you, as kkslider puts it, that movie=not canon?

You got to admit, the possibility that she won't turn back is very high.

I dunno about Japan, but in case she's adopted, by, say, Agasa, she can make a new birth certificate. I'm sorry, I'm not very well versed with these things too, but I'm pretty sure she can acquire all the necessary papers needed for her to start a new life as Haibara Ai.

Maybe she'll return as Shiho Miyano,she'll work for the FBI as a scientist,and since she was a victim of the BO,FBI will erase her "crimes"...she'll stay at Akai's Agasa's house,stay close to Shinichi and the DB and start a new life in freedom.End of the story. 8)

No I really don't want her to stay as a child.it would be a stupid "happy ending"for her..
and if the BO are destroyed,there's no reason to stay as a child...

I thought you meant with 'first movie case' the 'first movie'. I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

Well, she committed her crimes in Japan. Therefore, the FBI would have no authority about her in the first place. Only the Japanese government force could do something against her. However, without proof this might be difficult.

I agree with you. I would like to see her as Miyano Shiho again too, but the chances are just too slim.
