I agree, it would be just too easy to suspect that Akai = Okiya. All the events in DC right now are 'directly' implying that Okiya is someone who Conan knows, or at least believed. Not to mention, after Eisuke said that there's someone who had died in FBI, Conan just said "That's fine". . . lol

Yeah. . I don't like it. I really don't like it one bit. . This is all just too easy. .>_>;

Well you never know, personally I'm confused to how the Org can even fuction poperly xD.  From what we've seen so far you have Gin who is handing out immortality drugs to people, Vermouth who wants to be shot through the chest, and err...Vodka (enough said). 

I'm sure if Akai puts his mind to it he can trick them again xD.  Why he didn't shoot Gin when he had the chance?  Who knows.

i am thinking tracking down  the trators and killing them or rooting them out or give out  messages two uther agents or waching uthere  two see if there trusting or  two kill them after a deal is done  or off them          and such or evan  the bosses son who knows

Well Gin has a code name so he's relatively high up.  He seems to do everything...but he seems to do lots of work involving trading firearms/something dangerous for money/a bomb which kills the recipient.

But, I think it's fairly obvious that Akai can Okiya or Okiya can be Bourbon, but the chances of Akai being Bourbon is highly unlikely. I don't think Gosho'd repeat that line of Akai sneaking into the Org. one more time, nor do I think the Black Org. would be that.. well, stupid, to let their greatest enemy walk into their turf and play the same cards again.

Yes, he takes extra precaution to make sure that no traces of "Shinichi" are left behind at his house when he lets Okiya stay there, which seems awkward to me too, wherein the whole theory of Akai=Okiya crumbles in my eyes (what purpose would Conan have to hide Shinichi's identity from Akai, I'm not so certain... but maybe he's being cautious?)

The Okiya=Bourbon theory... well, this is obvious, because it's what Gosho wants us to believe! xD

Can't Okiya be someone like Jodie? Instead of coming from the FBI, Okiya can be from CIA, all for the interest of finding out how Conan shrunk and exploiting the drug for US government uses. This will definitely advance the plot.

Maybe more hidden characters will start to pop up as Bourbon. After all, he made the series last this long; he must have some more twists up his sleeves.

Its already 63++ volumes and our knowledge about BO Bigboss is only as much as our knowledge about martian aliens..

If gosho don't started introducing the boss, the ending would be pushover, it would be lame for the boss to be just another random character...

So, technically, these are all the possibilities (I'm not sure if anyone listed this before):

1. Akai = Bourbon = Okia (maybe somehow Akai sneaked into the BO with Yukiko's makeup skills, for example)
2. Akai = Okia and Bourbon is unrelated to this
3. Okia = Bourbon, and Akai = dead/somewhere else, and Conan made a mistake. (who knows?)
4. Akai = dead/somewhere else, Okia = Okia and Bourbon is someone else.
5. Okia = someone else from the BO (maybe even the Big Boss? That might be too much, though), and Conan made a mistake.

Mix and match them how much you want... Did I miss any?

Now, about Kir:

1. Kir is in the plan, and put some blanks in the gun/ some other trick
2. Kir doesn't know anything about the plan, and Akai put something bullet proof under his hat (I'm not really sure if you can actually do that, though)/ some other trick
3. Kir killed Akai

Not to over quote, but once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.

One of these two would be a nice twist.  I really would like to see Conan make a mistake at some point.  However, I think the end would have to be a little closer for something as big as Conan mistaking a BO agent for a friend to happen.  After all, for this to happen, things would get a lot darker and/or more complicated.
