I think it comes down to a personality thing, like with RubberStamp and Genta. She just gets on my nerves. And she's clingy, it's annoying.

Genta has the IQ of a rock.
Ayumi has some nice quotes, sometimes. Like what she said to Haibara to make her stay.

This is all about personable preferences, you might think Gentaeveryone is a fact so you can go ahead and say that =P

I agree with Heiji > Everyone... mostly. I still like Kaitou Kid better, but only slightly.

Also, yeah, Ayumi may have good quotes now and then, but so does everyone else... I mean, good quotes don't automatically make me like a character. I dislike Sonoko, but I like a lot of the episodes she's in and I realize that some of the cases wouldn't even be there without her.

Yeah, lol. That one random person that is doomed to die because of Gosho's storyline.

I think that a lot of people feel bad if characters like Sonoko, Takagi or Hattori die , even I find it hard to believe that Gosho Aoyama kill Ayumi or Mitsuhiko , but I´m pretty sure that if Genta die nobody give a damn about it .

Personally I think that the Aoyama mistake –and the reason that so many people hate Genta - is because Aoyama give this character more scenes that he deserve in the plot of DB cases .

Genta always say that he is the DB leader, he always is the one that ask the stupid question in every case –food related questions of course-, He is the comic relief almost every time (Hey Aoyama, even a rock is more funny that Genta). He is the main character in at least 3 DB cases –one related with Genta´s father and two related with Genta himself-.

In other words, is annoying that Genta have more scenes in the DB cases that others characters when we can see more Conan, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko or Haibara scenes. Well, is fun say the reasons why Genta must die, -I don´t hate kids I only hate Genta- to bad that “The dead of Gentaâ€

I kinda miss the older cases where it was just Kogoro, Ran (sometimes Sonoko) and Conan. Recently there have been a lot of episodes with the DB and every time I find out I want to scream Rooooar.
