For me the person I would like to die would be Genta. I know it wouldn't really advance the story but I find him really annoying and I wouldn't miss his presence in the show.

I don't really find him particularly useful, except in certain cases where he may say something that helps Conan figure out how the culprit did it/who the culprit is. But that role could be filled by anyone.

Yeah, Ayumi and Mitsuhiko can fill in that role.
He's so stupid! And only thinks of food. It irritates me.

I guess Gosho might be trying to give the audience a couple laughs, along with the murder/crimes.
But Genta isn't funny. He should find another way.

No matter what Conan, Ran, Kogoro, Mitsuhiko or Ayumi tell in a murder case, baka-Genta always a-l-w-a-y-s related the comentaries and other character actions with food.

He think that everybody only think in food,

and, in a faaaar second place, cute girls.
