It's not the Akai thing; that scene was the most interesting thing she ever did. I've always been pretty meh about Kir as a character, although I know her presence allowed the story to move forward.

I voted her because, like Kleene said, she's in a pretty precarious situation, so if Gosho's going to kill someone off, she's a likely candidate. I'd also like her to take a BO member down with her when she goes, if she goes. A good death scene would probably make me care about her more.
