Okay, so besides the listing above and Coming Home, is there other fanfiction that is good? I haven't started reading any yet, but I'm really interested, and since summer break is coming up, I'll have more time to read these.

And yes, school takes a bunch of time. I'm in high school, but I'm also in IB Program which takes up pretty much my life. And what sucks is that I have a bunch of summer homework to do and I need to learn more French over the summer or else I would epically fail IB french next semester. But still, one needs to relax, so these fanfic and DC epi. would be my entertainment. 

P.S. I'm not interested in AiCon fanfic love story. I mean, I really like Ai as a character because she's cool and mysterious. I also like her as a friend of Conan, but I AM a ShinRan fan, so yeah.

Um...I tend to stick to Icka, Ysa, Becky, and Hakaisha (formerly Hauntress) simply b/c I'm a picky reader with high expectations, and they've never disappointed me. So I don't have any other good fanfics hidden up my sleeve. Sorry

My fic When Pandora's Box Has Opened has ShinRan in it, but it's also over 100 chapters long if you include the sidefic XD Most of the people I read reguarly write KaiShin, so I don't have a lot to offer beyond Candyland and Becky Tailweaver, sorry

I have just watched the live action 1 and 2 for the first time.

Shinichi was fine, but may be too tall, or may be the actress who played Ran was short . Like in the lift in Live Action 2, he had to bend a great deal to reach her hight .

Besides, I thought she was a cute girl, could not see her playing karate, she did not have the confidence in her eyes like Ran, specially in the first one, even when she used her karate. Ran's personality was like AiCon fans describe her, a fan girl, she had better moments in the manga ,specially, and in some AO,Ovas and movies.

They were fun to watch , but I do not want to discuss the whole thing, Shinichi and Ran are my main interest .


On the other hand loved Shiho and little Ai.

Yeah, they should've cast for the best looking determined scowl/glare. Looks like they went for cute-girl-next-door instead of bishojo. Live action Shiho on the other hand was very beautiful.

Oh, and Ran suffered a fracture just from kicking wooden boards repeatedly? Seriously? Couldn't they have had Ran kick through the boards in ONE kick, with the top boards collapsing onto her leg instead?

* That reminds me, looking back at the Coded Map story, Ayumi did call Ran a beauty. I think Kirite already pointed that out in a previous discussion, but I didn't read carefully and confused that with the "big butt" stuff from Mystery in the Net instead. I guess Ran is supposed to be bishojo after all, and isn't simply a clone of Aoko despite the similar character design.
