no history of jokes for milksteaks? Someone's never seen It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia! :Vranger wrote: ...That's a bad comparison. A milksteak isn't funny, it has no humor involved in it, there is no history of jokes behind milksteaks, as opposed to Blackinese where many African-American comedians like to joke about during stand-up or in comedies.
But really: The fact that a punchline exists for a joke in previous cases in no way makes it a "suitable" punchline to the joke. There's basically two ways to take your joke:
1) That manga's issue is unrelated, and the answer of "Blackinese" is just used because the answer called for a language.
2) That manga's issue is related, and (as in PT's post) "Blackinese" has something to do with it.
Number 2 is somewhat racist, joking or not, though it sounds like that's not what you were going for. In that case, it's number 1, which hardly constitutes a joke and has as much substance as if you had said "British English" as the language instead, because some British vocabulary/accents are made fun of by people and makes it about as humorous/"historically humorous" as Blackinese. That doesn't mean that answering "British English" would be funny either though, because it has just as little of a connection as Blackinese does to the joke's question itself.
