"The energies of our system will decay; the glory of the sun will be dimmed, and the earth, tideless and inert, will no longer tolerate the race which has for a moment disturbed its solitude. Man will go down into the pit, and all his thoughts will perish. The uneasy consciousness, which in this obscure corner has for a brief space broken the contented silence of the universe, will be at rest. Matter will know itself no longer. 'Imperishable monuments' and 'immortal deeds,' death itself, and love stronger than death, will be as though they had never been."
Last Wizard of the Century. I'm not a big fan of Kid or the "30 minute case followed by a tangentially related hour long case" format, but no other movie gets to the core of DC as well. Rather than jumping around from explosion to explosion, location to location, and character to character, it has a nice narrow focus and is well paced throughout. I'm not always a huge fan of "exploration" cases, but when they're done right they can be pure, unvarnished fun.
Captured in Her Eyes is one of the better movies, but I still can't over the never-ending climax. Running around an amusement park is fun, but doing it for 20 minutes is tiresome. The amnesia stuff also a bit dumb and grating at times, but that kind of criticism can be leveled certain elements of all the DC movies (or at any movie targeted at kids, for that matter).

4. While it has the amnesia cliche, and as a JRPG fan I automatically can't be a fan of that, I remember it being done much better...or not being nearly as annoying as it could have been. I honestly sadly don't remember too much of the movie outside of my few complaints for it (mainly the last 10 or so minutes) but I remember first watching it I thought it was incredibly engaging almost from beginning to end in nearly every way.
Both were great movies. Two of my favourites of them all. But I'd never really liked the whole run around the amusement park of 4 so 3 won my vote.
