It's kinda creepy :/ I prefer Sama and Koorii's fandom name for her- Nyoko, "Precious Gem".

I remember someone giving her the name Meimi once. (Reference to Meimi Haneoka alias Kaitou Saint Tail. A fellow phantom thief! :3)

I know you don't typically pair an on reading and a kun reading in words, but wouldn't it more likely be read as Chiei?
(Or at least, it sounds more like a name...)

Chikage is a perfectly normal name.  Just google it and you'll find a lot of matches.

And in Japan, (Aoyama-sensei doesn't do this but) no matter what Kanji you use to name a baby, a parent is allowed to give that kanji any pronounciation they want. (So while using the Kanji for "Kaito", he could have easily said that it's supposed to be read as... well... "Shinichi" for example.)

So, my point is that it could be anything in real life...

I just found out about this today and went mad with happiness.

I'm actually quite upset how they animated Aoko (Kaito is PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT!) Aoko is suppose to have a childish kinda look (the way DC does it looks great). Her hair is definitely suppose to be shorter. Did her VA change? She sound EXACTLY like Ran now, didn't she have a different VA? Aoko isn't suppose to be that much of a Ran clone. One more thing that bothers me....SHE HAS BOOBS NOW. WTF Aoko is suppose to be flat!

I have nothing against KaiShin.  In fact, I read a lot of fanfics and look at fanart about them.  It's a wonderful pairing.  However, when it comes down to it, I really do prefer that Shinichi and Ran get together.  I like KaitoxHakuba better anyway.  XD

I have nothing against KaiShin.  In fact, I read a lot of fanfics and look at fanart about them.  It's a wonderful pairing.  However, when it comes down to it, I really do prefer that Shinichi and Ran get together.  I like KaitoxHakuba better anyway.  XD
