I fangasmed. It was wonderful. I love how they made the animation and reactions slightly different from DC. It was really refreshing.
Fangasmed- THAT is the perfect word to describe how this made me feel XDXD
@kaitoushinichi- I wonder how nobody ever noticed him getting that CAR in and out of the house. How did he do that? Well, I suppose you can get away with buying some weird supplies and making odd noises when you're a stage magician... I don't know how he hid the dimensions. Maybe the house features visual tricks like the ones used in those trunks that the lovely assistant "disappears" inside of (visual tricks in the painting of the inside of the trunk and ornamentation tricks on the outside make the trunk look deeper and heavier than it actually is, allowing quite a deep hidden compartment to be placed in the bottom without anyone noticing).
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I really love the art style.. It's somehow better than DC's new art style.
It was kind of fresh and very entertaining. No opening, though the ending rocked!
I really hope there will be MORE and MORE epsidoes! And I can't wait till Akako's appearance. ^^
also, is that one witch who's voiced by ai's VA in the special?
Akako is not since she doesn't appear until the last chapter of Volume 1; the special only covers the first chapter. If they ever do create more episodes for Magic Kaito, I'd have a hunch "Scarlet Temptress" (Akako's debut) would likely be the next episode. (Followed by Hakuba's debut, followed by the Blue Birthday heist that explains why on Earth Kaito steals gems in the first place.)
that's what I said! Maybe she did some work as a teacher when getting her Phd :O
It's more like it takes place in the future. That's actually Haibara all grown up after the downfall of the BO. :O Kaito is actually Shinichi and Ran's child and all the Kid we've seen before were just hallucinations by Conan's drug induced mind.

Either that or Kaito can time-travel.
Anyway, it can't be Sherry...she has a better death glare.
Superman = Captain America > Aquaman = Hal Jordan > Wonder Woman > Barry Allen > Thor > Martian Manhunter > The Hulk > Wasp > Hawkeye > [power gap] > Iron Man = Batman > [power gap] > Hank Pym

She got a whiff of Generic's memory gas stuff... she forgot how to do it.
Oh yeah, another somewhat important scene that you kinda left out was the walk home with Kaito and Aoko. At that time, they come across a little boy who was crying, and Kaito cheers him up by a little simple magic. Seeing this, Aoko says with a nostalgic, thoughtful look, "Oh, that's right..." (There's various ways to translate it. I just chose the one that came to me first.)
