My friends and I were feeding our nostalgia with videos of the first season of Pokemon, taped back when it was on SMTV Live every morning XD

3) I always wandered why we can't see dogs,cats or any other domestical pets xD If I recall correctly, there were Pokemon schools.

And yeah, I suppose the thing was meant to be that in Planet Pokemon they have Pokemon instead of ordinary animals; like, people have Growlithe and Poochyena instead of pet dogs, and Giovanni has Persian for his Blofeld thing.

Then again, Lt Surge claimed to have lived in the USA, and I think Fantina was meant to be French. So are they implying that Kanto, Johto etc are somewhere on this planet, just have entirely seperate wildlife?

close combat is okay, but if you can't win with it in 2 turns, you're pretty much screwed

If you can't win in 2 hits, and the opponent isn't a defensive Pokemon like Blissey or Bronzong... you really shouldn't be staying in long enough to get that second hit in.
