It's based on the manga, which I'm glad to see them bringing aspects of into the games.  The manga is actually quite brutal, considering the source.

true, pokemon are actually evil in the manga unlike the whole "pokemon aren't bad, it's the trainers that are bad" theme that you see in the anime, and is crystal awesome or what?

Yeah, Crystal is pretty badass.  Green is a cool character, too.  I also like how evil Team Rocket actually is.  And the lengths the resistance will go to defeat them.  I remember reading about Team Rocket torturing Eevee to the point that its cells started destabilizing, and that was insane.  Was pretty humorous how that cellular degeneration allowed it to evolve and devolve into the stone evolutions as it pleased, though.

yeah, and...this might sound crazy...but...THE ELITE FOUR ACTUALLY EXIST IN THE MANGA! unlike in the anime, where the only show up to beat the crap out of satoshi, not only that, the elite four are so epic, wanting to exterminate the human race...so awesome *parkur demands more lorelai*

Yeah, though if I recall they had pretty shitty Pokemon considering their status.  In fact... wasn't everyone pretty much evil except the main characters, Brock, Misty, Erika, and maybe Blaine (can't remember if he was a Team Rocket defector or just hated his circumstances or what)?

And the legendaries are actually captured/used!

yeah, he was a scientist for team rocket, then he started to disagree with them, and eventually left, and the legendaries are awesome, they should have used mew more though

Nah, you just have to figure out how to play the game.  Once you do, you can get quite a few coins pretty easily.

probably, i used togepi for rock smash because i was too lazy to catch a geodude, then i ditched it

I use it as my flying-type, but I've mostly just switched it out for Lapras at the moment.  Of course, its ability is the real problem:  lowered accuracy is a bad thing, in my opinion.
