i probably should have clarified myself there, pokemon before battle frontier > Current DC
Only if you include the AOs. Otherwise you are on crack and/or need to take the nostalgia goggles off.

of course the AOs are included, in my opinion, they bring down the quality of the whole series

unless something hilarious happens I tend to pretend they don't exist.

Especially since anyone I suggest the series to I immediately make sure they avoid 95 percent of the AOs.

At least the AOs in DC are better than in other Animes (Bleach, Naruto). And I prefer some (rather good) AOs over Conan running along a corridor for 5min in a Story Plot episode.

if you're talking about the old AOs, then you're absolutely right, if you're talking about the newer ones, then i'm afraid nothing can be done for you

I talk about the AOs in DC in general (all AOs) compared to all AOs that occur in other animes :3

Why do people only care about the plot (especially in DC)?
I thought at least DC fans would care about the awesome cases even if there's no plot development..
Even the DC AO's have, most of time, something interesting.

And.. Is Pokemon still on-going? Seriously? ???

Yes it is and there's boon a report saying that there'll be ANOTHER SEIRIES after Diamond and Pearl. I mean, seriously, how many more single-word names can they think of?!

And I voted Naruto; DC is in general a detective anime (well duh) so it's normal for it to be chock full of fillers and cases that happen really randomly. Naruto is SUPPOSED to have a PLOT, but I think that it's dragging reeeeally long... DC and Naruto are both really old anime/mangas, but Naruto's "plot" has been going on way longer. And it's not exactly going anywhere. For DC, at least we've got Bourbon right now.

I'm not sure what the fifth-gen in called. Light and shadow?? They should've quit while it was still good, but Pokemon will not die.

Awesome cases?  Like a man moving a billboard by himself, with no one noticing, and this blinding a man and causing a horrible traffic accident?

Anyway, Bleach is obviously the worst.  I'm not even talking about the anime.  Last week was the first time something impressive has happened in the manga in about 2 years.  And before that small clump 2 years ago, it was about a year before that when anything happened.

Kleene Onigiri wrote: Well out of DC, Bleach, Naruto and One Piece (I'll take that into account here :p) I voted for Bleach!

For me, Bleach is like that currently:
You start reading the chapter... you have usually like 3-4 panels on one page, usually just containing "slash slash slash" over 3 pages.... 4. page someone say something not important.... more slash slash slash pages...... some "talking" between characters... next pages they zoom into the faces (containing 2-3 panels) and then..... the chapter is finished? wait what? nothing much happened actually D:

Time that I feel I was reading Bleach: 5 sec
Yah Bleach can be condensed into lesser chapters... Seems nothing is really going on except for the apparent trolling of Kubo...
One Piece is great in that aspect. You have a variation of a lot of panels on one page or just one big picture. But almost every page has something important (for plot or characters) or funny on it.

Time that I feel I was reading One Piece: ~10min
With the recent chapters, OP is really pawning both Bleach and Naruto combined...
If you think you are cooler than me then prove it, B*TCH!

actually before I end up being even more of an asshole, let me (basically) repeat something a friend of mine said on another long running show that occasionally had awful crap

There's some terrible shit at times but at the end of the day the better parts of the show end up being so good that it's still amazing despite the horrible stuff.

also you don't have to watch the filler, believe it or not
