Day 1 Ends!
"Oh wow, poor SA," Jecka commented, sounding only mildly concerned. "Hope that doesn't happen to anyone else."

"Anyway, back to my cake," said Kamite, trying to get everyone's attention. "Actually, can someone grab Link's cape for me? I'm gonna use it to clean up if things get messy over here."

"Seems fair. He's not using it anymore, after all," said Callid, as he reached down to rip Link's cape from his corpse. "Makes sense to repurpose it, instead of letting it go to waste."

"Are we really not gonna talk about the fact that Link was just murdered right in front of us by an unknown assailant?" asked Fuji.

"Just remember, Off Topic Studios is not responsible for that. For this next part, I need a volunteer. How about... Callid?"

Callid hesitated. "I didn't volunteer."

"Did I say volunteer? My bad. Get over here, please. I need you to grab something from the top shelf for me."

Worried and a little bit annoyed at being singled out, Callid did as he was told.

As Kamite pointed to a mixing bowl on the top shelf, Callid reached for it. Taking a step forward for better grip, though, he hit a wet spot on the floor (probably from Link's pooling blood) and slipped, slamming into the cabinets and knocking his head on the floor. The ensuing rattle caused all of the mixing bowls to fall, hitting Callid and Kamite right in the face, leaving them both bruised.

But better bruised than dead, right?

"Uhh... why don't we take a break for now? I need five minutes," Kamite suggested.

Someone threw their handcuffs at the wall in frustration and broke them.

Not sure why someone brought handcuffs to a cooking show.

Whew. Glad no one died. I was so afraid I'd actually kill Callid.
But why such an early arrest? =X
