Rei just need to have phone call with Kazami (for whatever reason), while Ayanokoji needs a special reason to get involved in Tokyo. I don't think that Gosho is gonna setup the Kyoto case in this current one(to the point that a Kyoto officer will get a involved).

My speculation regarding him is that he is a one-case-only guy that wanted that last plushy of Higo, but Haibara got it before him, so he has been trying to steal it from her backpocket, but then it accidentally got swapped with the dark-skinned boy's Sanada plushy(hence him waiting in lost and found for it to be returned). Since it seemed to only be sold online after that last plushy, that silhuette guy was probably in a hurry for some reason and couldn't wait for a delivery.

I also wonder—if Ryusuke appeared alongside his plush, will Takahiro appear alongside his (although it must be noted he already technically made his debut in 885–887/765–766, and then appeared again in 925–927/822–823, even those both his appearances were only brief TV ones)?

Eh, I get it, but I'm still gonna hope that there's more to it than that.

Kazami and Sanada would be my two main candidates, since the fact that Sanada's name has been dropped could easily have been foreshadowing his involvement(plus, maybe he's also meant to fit in the "full of handsomes" description in the AC hint), but yeah, because of his past cameos, I'm gonna take Gosho's words seriously and see it as a "manga debut", rather than a character introduction(in which Sanada gets his first name box). Sanada could still appear though, but probably not as the guy that Gosho teased in AC.

Ayanokoji is more expected to appear earliest at the beginning of Kyoto case setup(File 1000, if the current one is a three-parter,
or File 999, if the current one is a two-parter).

Not a single sound. In Polish a single dot . is called kropka (a dot), a colon : dwukropek (a twodot), and an ellipsis … wielokropek (a multidot). Pay attention that both dwukropek and wielokropek (despite de facto being plural) in Polish are considered masculine singular, and that's why the English translations are ending with a "dot" word, and not "dots". Their plural forms are: kropki, dwukropki and wielokropki.

Most of times an ellipsis is used either to skip some text or to force the reader to add the rest of the words and finish the sentence (to break a thought). In the case of the former, we either rather say that some text has been skipped or we are not mentioning that ellipsis at all because its existence there is irrelevant. In the case of the latter, we also skip it, because the intonation of the sentence itself suggest that either we are not going to finish what we started to say, or we already said everything we were about to say.

This is how I see the ellipsis.
