So you're not here for the mystery, then?

If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

Not really, I'm just surprised that, at least in this case, someone's more interested in NinzaburoxSumiko than in Rumi, Hyoue, the Koji Haneda murder mystery, and Rum.

Spoiler:
Just saw 989. It's just me or Haibara is doing to Conan with Rumi the same thing he did to her with Okiya? Like "(S)he can't be bad, I like her/him."
It's very strange. Now I'm confused. Maybe they knew each other from the BO? Bcs I can't come up with another explanation on why Haibara likes her after sensing the BO aura.

me too! It's really weird because Rumi doesn't really do nothing more than what Okiya did during the Ikkaku rock case, but the fact that Okiya saved Ayumi didn't prevent her to suspect him at the end of the file...now it happened the opposite

I know, right

I will try to get my self busy with other anime, or maybe reread and rewatch a few conan episodes I want to rewatch for theory research purposes

It will be fine though, we might get spoilers not this friday or the next, we just have to be patient and wait to see who this sword man is !

To be honest, I really like Rumi Wakasas cringe way of solving problems just as rescuing Ayumi. I think most people would say she is evil now after seeing that side of her, but I personally think she is definitely on Conans side.
BUT what i am not sure about is: Conan mentions something with her right eye.. I went throught the chapters and actually did not notice anything weird... Can someone maybe explain to me? Maybe I am just blind?

Why would you only now say she is evil, when she in her last case, she let a murder happen and didn't even tell the police what she saw afterwards. Maybe she is somehow on the same side as Conan, but she is not good.

It is from this scene in 988:

I guess I misssaid something. What I was talking about Rumi is that people are going to judge her on all the "evil" acts she done already, the one in this case was just an example. And I would say she is either someone completely nice with a cringe way of acting OR someone who just wants to reach a specific goal (which I don't know what it is) and to reach that she "abuses" Conan & co. and pretends to be on their side.

Ah I see! So she can't see Ayumi until Ayumi gets in the sight of her left eye, which means she didn't see her with the right eye, ok.

Haibara liking Rumi is an interesting topic but when you really think about her character and history it doesn't seem that weird that she would grow to like her because of the way Rumi uses to forcefully get solutions to things. I can see Haibara thinking "I should have been like that."
Also Haibara shouldn't be aware of her knowing people die beforehand and do nothing about it. I don't think Gosho would do that.
