Oh, it's so nice to see Ran starting to take an active role in the story again!

Probably not, Heiji did the same thing in the Detective Koshien to get Ran, Kogoro and Conan to come along, because he thought they won't accompany him otherwise and nothing came out of that.

I think Heiji said that because he noticed that nobody is interested in his journey, so he tried to lure at least Ran to it knowing that Conan won't let her go alone and will accompany her, thus he (Heiji) will get for what he originally came for.

But Sango and his brother have never been shown to have some love insofar unlike the Tokyo Police or the Nagano team.

And as for confession... I doubt it. Guess it'll end up in nothing again. Especially if Movie 21 is going to be about Heiji & Kazuha.

I was commenting to the post above me that seemed to think that there might be something romantic stuff involving police officers: I wanted to point out that since it's Shizuoka and it's Sango's brother then that surely isn't the case.

Did you mean Jugo? Well he is officer in kanagawa district... In shizuoka there is Sango sha sha sha honestly i often mistake him for his brother too. Well i don't want any romance thing beetwen police anymore, but maybe cool police figure like koumei will be great...because there is too much foolish officer sha sha sha.

Does "てつの" mean something in japanese? Or is it the name of one of the suspects? Because, if you turn around "nue", like in a mirrow, it appears that.

Hard to say. I'm not sure of the readings of the 5 characters' Kanji. And there are over 20 kanji read as "tetsu". "no" can also be a Kanji or a particle indicating possession.
I have to wait for the Japanese bloggers to write reviews about the files to know more.

Anyway this nue creature, think I've seen it in RPGs before.. Could it be the same as from Breath of Fire 3? The motive for nue's attacks was pretty much the opposite of wanting to cause harm so I wonder how this will turn out. The cry of the Nue could be heard etc, I really like the game, so I have high expectations for this one, we'll see...
