And how is AmuroxVermouth possible

Their relationship is more likely to be partners with benefits than anything else (and that's not mentioning Rei's/Tooru's blackmail)...KaitoRizu wrote:Oh no please! While not drectly related, it seems they have been telling us a few weeks in advance whether or not certain issues of Sunday will have files, ect.
Comments are from an application developer, a manga staff, the Yomiuri TV executive producer Suwacchi, and Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory staff. A lot of them seem to be about meetings with Gosho over dinner, comments about when the Name (rough drafts) get sent to the publisher, stuff from the anime staff, and comments about merch and the like.

It is... Mostly... I'm not really against the spies as long as Mary (if she is one) is the last one, but their current number is making the BO look less threatening not just to me but to many more...DCUniverseAficionado wrote:Their relationship is more likely to be partners with benefits than anything else (and that's not mentioning Rei's/Tooru's blackmail)...KaitoRizu wrote:Oh no please! Is this about the spies thing, again?![]()
I still think there's too much griping over this. The fact has been—from the start of DC—that until Shinichi/Conan has his plan fully set up when the climax arrives, the BO has always had the capability to kill him pretty easily (and even then, who's to say his plan won't have bumps in it? Close calls will abound, most likely.).
Not my argument. For me, two spies just isn't enough... and Mary is not an undercover agent in the BO, so she's not that kind of spy.KaitoRizu wrote:It is... Mostly... As for the romance plots, I liked what Aoyama was doing at the beginning of the series (with Shinichi and Ran and Takagi and Sato for example) but the recent romances (Yuki and Shuukichi for example) didn't look very good to me and are kinda forced as if he doesn't want to leave a single person in the "single" status and adding a romance plot line between Vermouth and Amuro is just........
I don't want Vermouth to be ruined by something like that... she's my favorite BO member... no matter what the motive for the relationship is... but if he wanted to pair Amuro with the real Azusa then I wouldn't really mind or care....
And the BO can kill anyone easily as long Shuuichi and Conan aren't around or aware of their plans...
I think their sense of threat would be increased if we saw more successes. Instead of having Gin gossip about his teammates while Vodka drives the Porsche, why not have Gin clean his gun and gossip about his teammates while Vodka pushes a weighted body over the side of a boat? Background touches like that to remind us what the BO is capable of where we don't need a full case would provide the right atmosphere. Heck even Gin updating a computer report to say "terminated" would be better than the plain old Porsche.DCUniverseAficionado wrote:To me, the BO have been the big threat they've always been.
Like when they assassinated that guy at the Jazz club in File 287/Episode 230? Or when they checked on Vermouth in 429–434/345?Chekhov MacGuffin wrote:I think their sense of threat would be increased if we saw more successes. Yes, i agree with @DCUniverseAficionado, gin is my fav BO member and he already looks like moriarty but have rougher method, well....he is maniac killer too but somehow it's cool.DCUniverseAficionado wrote:Like when they assassinated that guy at the Jazz club in File 287/Episode 230? Trying to murder a fellow member? For Gin, that's to be expected.Wakarimashita wrote:Looking back, that jazz club scene was kind of dumb. It's still one of my favorite scenes but both Gin trashing a waiter's head with an ice pick and Chris Vineyard the 'huge actress' talking to him without anyone in the club caring is a bit far-fetched. I know they address it by having everyone's 'eyes glued to the singer' but it's hardly a believable explanation.
