He went with her on holidays to a remote location. Actually it's a hidden, secret island somewhere in the ocean with nice scenery and luxurious food and everything.
Why a remote location? He didn't want anyone to disturb their time, since Megure is working a lot. And there are those noisy DB brats who are always there to play "cupid" and also the death-bringers Kogoro and Conan who always appear and if they do, someone always dies ... and Megure didn't want everyone around him dying!

He took her on a proper dinner. Which thankfully wasn't interrupted by a murder case since a certain death magnet wasn't in any near vincinity.

Out of the school club: by kicking criminals, Conan, her father and random walls, tables and telephone poles (which makes me feel a bit bad for Kogoro... he have to pay for the damages on top of being broke....)
