While I absolutely love the old ost, I still like the ost of movie 13, different tastes I guess.Wakarimashita wrote:Movie 13's OSTs suck though. I'm still mourning the loss of the previous BO tracks (theme of the old castle for instance).

I don't think 13's OST's are terrible but they're terribly uninspired for sure. Almost all sound the same and are remixes.
Movie 19 had 62 soundtracks and aside from the normal main themes and ending song these were the only decent ones I noticed (had alot of lame remixes also):
Iron Tanuki again, safety now, opening ceremony, sunflowers, The Meaning Of Kid´s Card,
Judah's identity, Confess, Last Chance (main theme remix) = 8.

Movie 18 had about 90 tracks and 3 were themes for the sniper. That is all.

Re: Detective Conan Anime Discussion Thread (Latest Subbed Episode: 809)
I was once interested in listening to all the soundtracks but around Movie 15 I gave up because they are so meaningless. Tbh, 15 made the previous few soundtracks sound memorable, so think about that.
anyway...
Episode 809: The Kamaitachi Inn (Part 2)
-Conan almost ruined everything with his phone. Good job!
-Conan is running on water. He is now Detective Jesus.
-Luminous Watch is what someone should name an indie game
-Haibara's ringtone! Pffft, what? I don't even...what?! XD
The case was good I guess? I dunno. It was solid enough, but I didn't care too much outside of a few cool parts of the trick (mainly the walking over water). Chapped skin being so important is unintentionally funny to me. God damn Heiji is an idiot though. Saying the girl you like is like a sister is probably not the best idea!
Number of songs from 2007 soundtrack: 7

Re: Detective Conan Anime Discussion Thread (Latest Subbed Episode: 810)
810 was really an excellent episode. And not that much censorship compared to what I initially expected.
Just a bit annoyed that they took out a funny scene once again probably to save on voice-acting.
By the way, is it me or has the quality of CR's subs declined ? I was sometimes bothered by their timing or the way they split the sentences, not to mention a few typos here and there as well as odd phrasing.

I've been bothered by them since they started saying "Kogoro-no-ojisan" :xWakarimashita wrote:By the way, is it me or has the quality of CR's subs declined ? I found the designs of the characters in this episode to be a bit weird, not bad, just weird, but it's still awesome, I was waiting for this episode since chapter 913 was released.

And Hyoue? How did he look to you?
“Life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent. We would not dare to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of existence. If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

Re: Detective Conan Anime Discussion Thread (Latest Subbed Episode: 810)
I'm disappointed. In the manga Kuroda looked really scary. In the anime he looks pretty normal, even Saegusa is looking scarier than Kuroda. And the colour of his suit... Not to mention seiyuu, while it was pretty correct, one would expect his voice to be more deep and therefore more terryfing as well. The episode itself was pretty good, though.

I think the faces in this episode were a bit off, too. Especially Kuroda's.

Wasn't Masumi also "off," when she was introduced in the anime? Didn't the DCW wiki keep using a manga picture for her page for awhile, because of that?
