Was that done on purpose? (We can't really hear that strangely mature voice in the manga lol) Or maybe it was to show the possibility of that kid being male?
Gosho liked this particular voice actress (http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Noriko_Hidaka), who was also in Ranma 1/2, where many other DC voice actors had experience, as well.

MG is voiced by the same voice actor (http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Atsuko_Tanaka) who voiced Motoko Kusanagi (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motoko_Kusanagi) from Ghost in the Shell (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_in_the_Shell).

(Regarding what's inside the spoiler box) I think so, as well! That was why I was quite curious about whether or not Gosho has a say in choosing the voice actors for his characters in DC. The child had a strangely mature voice for her age (in the anime), but it wasn't stated in the manga that the child did have a mature voice (although it could somehow be implied in how the child speaks, maybe? (like the choice of words, formality of speech, etc.)).DCUniverseAficionado wrote:Oh.Uchiha Shadow wrote:I'm pretty sure he's referring to MG's voice actress.DCUniverseAficionado wrote:Masumi is a girl.Azurinette wrote:I don't really know where to place this inquiry, but does Gosho have a say in the decision regarding the voice actors of the characters? It would be pretty cool if the theory was indeed true.

798 was absolutely hilarous. The first half was at least.
The ending was pretty predictable, as expected from a one part AO, but still enjoyable.

Yeah, but... the guy on the ground was fat, so it would be possible for the drunk guy to survive.

The drunk guy was pushed and was used as a "human weapon" so he would land on the other guy and they both die. The guy on the ground was the target and Conan prevented 2 deaths.

That opening was making the rounds on the tumblr pages, which was where I saw that part of it.
So he did prevent a murder—too bad he can't do that more often... but perhaps without breaking the laws of physics.

Episode 798: The Moving Target
Well...that's a way to start an episode.
I've heard of deep sleepers, but this is ridiculous!
"One vote for yes." Pfffft, yes.
Ha...this case was stupid. Tbh, it was less crazy then I was hoping. It wasn't bad though, and I like having more awful people as culprits. But wow was he arrogant.
