It won't bring anything into the main story at all, just like movie 13...

Yeah, but it will be a million times quicker paced then the canon so I'll take it.

Also, because the plot characters (or at least these ones) in Conan are mostly super engaging (barring Chianti and Korn).

Though to be fair, I actually really like Movie 13, despite its flaws. But my main hope is that they just straight up make it a sort of FBI/BO movie, instead of a murder mystery no one cares about at the end of the day(which is the biggest problem of Movie 13). I mean, they pulled that off with Movie 18 but that had 2 plot characters basically and the movie I don't think even acknowledged the actual series plot barring one or two things. Big difference.
