Is it possible that Sera is at same kindergarten at the time but didn't meet Shinichi and Ran or she does meet them but didn't introduce her name and Shinichi saw her tooth.

Agreed, if you look at their faces on Page 2, Sonoko is grinning because she knows what Ran is talking about, while Sera is confused, which indicates to me that she either doesn't know what Ran is talking about at all or that she knows, but didn't know that Ran disliked Shinichi at the time (similar to Conan's confusion)

And I want to repeat myself again: I want to know what Sera's hyping deal is as much as anyone else, but I don't want it mingled together into the first meeting of ShinRan story.

I'm not sure if I'm going to like the file. This case feels so irrelevant for any progress in the main plot. Of course, that's true for most of the files and a lot of them are still entertaining and have very interesting character developments but I would like to see more Kuroda even if he's just in the background doing random stuff. Doesn't seem very likely with this file.
Hopefully, it will at least be a cute story even though *everyone-looks-up-at-mini-Shinichi* was a bit much.

He added a question mark at the end. It looks like he's asking if he really is Edogawa Conan. Or rather he's questioning his identity... If so, he probably knows more about the APTX than any other police officer.

I don't know which translation is more accurate, but I've seen translations that translate that as "Will you please take care of me, Edogawa Conan-kun?" So I don't think that has something to do with identity questioning, but rather translation matters.

It's mostly the hope of anything going on with the main plot. Kuroda is shown as a possible candidate for Rum. He doesn't need to be Rum but it still makes him an interesting character for me. There is something mysterious about him, could be BO-related, could be anything else, but it's hopefully interesting to read.

True. But Kuroda transferring is another suspicious point - even though it might just be Gosho playing with us again. Still, I would also love to have more cases with Kansuke and Koumei but Kuroda seems to be more likely to appear in the next cases.

My first impression when seeing the new file, without being able to read was: holy hell, young Shinichi is such an asshole.
Dunno how well this impression goes with the text, but I just don't like how Shinichi doesn't seem to behave even slightly like a normal kid even at the age of 4.

At the very least there's no break, and file 923 will come out next week.
