Salutations, everyone!
Greetings!
Detective Conan caught my attention about 2 and 1/2 years ago. I had, then, and still have, now limited experience with anime/manga–Detective Conan and Magic Kaito are the only mangas I've read, and their anime adaptions are the only anime I've watched, besides Ghost in the Shell and various clips of various animes on YouTube.
I recently got an app on my IPad that has granted me access to Volumes 1–83 of Detective Conan, and I have Files 905–915, as well. I also have most of the 2-hour specials from the anime. I haven't read anywhere near close to all of the files, or watched all the episodes, and while I'm very interested in the mystery genre, I haven't practiced deducing much, so until I do more research and get more observant, you won't be seeing me doing in-depth analysis and theory-crafting.
I look forward to discussing Detective Conan with you all!

If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generations, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

Do you get the actual manga, or do you read it online?

Most read it online but it's best to also support the official release. (/ads)DCUniverseAficionado wrote:It's called "Comic Detective Conan" by Dinh Linh on the app store.cookieyanni wrote:Welcome!

Ave, Aficionado, morituri te salutant!
My dad’s a soldier blue I’ll be a soldier, too
When I grow older you will see me rescue you
I’ll teach you this old song so you can sing along
When I am dead and gone the day won’t be so long.

Not exactly Roman history, but in general I like history (and been called a historian), and from time to time I like to use Latin sentences.DCUniverseAficionado wrote:Oooh... Re: Salutations, everyone!
I probably know more about certain topics than others (I know quite a bit about American history, but I could know more about Middle Eastern history) but I consider myself a historian of everything–hopefully, as time passes, I can come closer to that.Nemomon wrote:in general I like history (and been called a historian), and from time to time I like to use Latin sentences.
I took Spanish from grade school to just last semester, here at college–Spanish may be derived from Latin, but I don't know much about Latin as I want to–props to you for using those phrases.
Glad to find another historian!
