False. With the power out in lots of places around the state (mine didn't come back until this morning) there wasn't much point in my going to work. Also I was in far too much pain last night to consider it.
Next person didn't lose power over the holiday (or just 'Thursday' for those not in the US). I find it mildly ironic that we were without power on the day named after the god of thunder/lightning....
