It's almost impossible for me to voluntarily walk up stairs without skipping a step.  If I consciously try not to it feels weird.

Growing up, surrounded by monolingual English speakers, desperately needing a language to dissect, I studied the speech patterns of chickens and turkeys (I grew up on a small ranch in Montana). I can actually talk to chickens and turkeys, and many species of baby birds as well. That got me teased so much in grade school...

I am afraid of dinosaurs. My fear is so bad that a simple documentary gives me nightmares. All of that thanks to Jurassic park, you can imagine my delight when I learned that there was going to be a new one.
I am fine with dragons and even the kaiju from pacific rim, but dinosaurs?

I have a fear of fire alarms. It's because I have very good hearing, which makes anything that's already loud even louder to me. Fire alarms are both loud and surprising. Luckily, I graduated from high school last June, so I am now free of planned fire drills.

I was kinda similar when I was small, it was that everytime anything or anyone made a loud-ish noise I would run from the room. I still do it sometimes, though not running, merely walking or if it especially loud I walk out rather quickly.
