Kudos to Meitantei Fujiwara for the story!
Looking through Nemomon's diary after he had been safely locked away showed that he had been nothing but an innocent Civilian. Silence stretched out as everyone reeled from that revelation. Nemo had been their only real lead. shinichi'sapprentice frantically went through all witness testimonies and notes that had been aft behind by the deceased - all bleary eyed and hyped up from a combination of sleep deprivation and an overdose of caffeine.
Had Detective Fujiwara left them any other clues behind? His fingers were shaking with nerves and so he didn't notice one little slip of paper glide from the stack as he rustled through it and fall under his chair. If he had noticed, his nerves might have calmed a bit, for there in a neat and tiny scrawl, the late Detective had noted down that both he himself and Stopwatch were not to be suspected of any evil-doing. But alas, it was not to be.
Left without any worthwhile clue, he drove himself mad with worry. Tonight, he thought, it ends tonight. If we don't catch the second Spy, it will all have been for naught. All the corpses, the sacrifices, the sleepless nights. Anyone could be the Spy. And he'd get away if they didn't stop him within in the next few hours! @__@
People were slowly trickling into the meeting room.
"You there!" shinichi'sapprentice ran up to MoonRaven. "Show me your list! Now!"
"You too!" dumytru was next. "And you!" he grabbed Jellitto by her wrist, not letting her go until she's submitted a list of 9 names. He noticed MDavid sneak in through the back door. "You! List! Now!" SA's breath came so quickly, he was close to hyperventilating, running from person to person and determining who took too long to come up with his list of names.
Damn it all! He'd thought for sure that MoonRaven was evil, but she'd submitted a list so quickly, what did this all mean? @__@
Meanwhile, MoonRaven was chuckling to herself. 'You silly people,' she thought to herself. 'I'm not evil. You'll see how wrong you were, that'll teach you to jump to conclusions.' She chuckled some more and began to doze off in her seat. The meeting was getting a bit tedious.
Stopwatch, herself, kept quiet as she usually did. She was going to do as she liked and no one was going to stop her.
People were just about to vote for Moon's arrest when Jellitto returned from wherever she's wandered off to. "Wait a second!" the usually rather quiet girl said forcefully. "I'm not sure that Moony's the one we're after! Remember the first day? Her list definitely corroborates the story she had back then."
People around her looked up in astonishment. How could they have overlooked that? Even MoonRaven herself hadn't really been able to provide an alibi, but Jellitto seemed to be telling the truth.
"I'm sorry to interrupt..." the Mayor says quietly, "But the longer we wait, the more likely the Spy is to get away. We need to decide now."
Uncertainty in the Town's mind, they placed their votes...

In the ensuing struggle, however, his phone fell out of his pocket, buzzing with an text message alert. dumytru was the first one to reach it, finding the unknown number suspicious before reading the message. As he comprehended the meaning of the words on the screen, his jaw dropped briefly before closing it, his lips turning into a growl as he read it aloud.
"EXTRACTION POINT BETA, 15 MINUTES. Looks like we have our Spy."
RESULTS: Player MDavid (Spy) has received the most votes and has been eliminated from the game.
