That sounds like a good idea....

I am cold and tired. I know why I'm tired--I woke up too dang early. Not sure why I'm cold, though, since the thermostat says it's 72F (~22C) in here.
Maybe I should see about finding lunch to go with my tea....
I have finally started to actually publish my story! For the moment, expect a new chapter each month.

The Case of the Midnight Channel
"When a strange letter summons the Mouri family to Inaba, Ran is expecting a case. She's not expecting it to involve the TV, though.
If Naoto investigated everyone who came to visit Inaba, she'd have little time for real cases. When Yukiko reports that the Midnight Channel is back, however, she starts to wonder if the visitors are connected. Especially when the image clears, unveiling yet another mystery."

Short version: I'm taking various DC/MK characters to Inaba (where Persona 4 takes place) and dropping them through the TV to face their Shadows!

@Yuri: That looks delicious!
I had milk ramen in a restaurant around here. Probably their own invention, it was really good! Tastyness of ramen combined with the taste of the milk sauce my grandma used to make *.* I wonder how they make it.

@Gio: They were! We actually had home made broth this time, which made them even better. I hope next time I have better bowls though.
And that sounds nice o:, I wish I could try more ramen!!

On a side note, I'm going to try out the rice cooker I got for my birthday tomorrow! It has a steam pan as well, so I can try using it right away~ Maybe I'll make lots of onigiri... bentos... I really want to make bentos more often.

1) Cook rice in the rice cooker
2) throw in 1-2 raw eggs
3) add some soy sauce
4) mix.

XD
After I learned about that, I made it my standard dinner, as long as I had a rice cooker. Much more tasty than it sounds! (And yes, I'm lazy.)
Ah yes, rice cooker. Gonna get one when my scholarship finally arrives.

The ramen can be easy depending on what you add to them. The base is always pork or chicken broth with thicker noodles. I added a boiled egg, thin slices of spring onion and courgette with slightly boiled thin slices of Turkey (I used the stuff you can put on bread because I'm incredibly lazy), narutomaki (which is a fish cake used commonly in ramen, you'll recognise them as the white stars with pink swirls), some seaweed and toasted nori leaves. If you have everything prepared beforehand the broth and noodles are probably hardest to make, unless you just buy your broth from a store.

Thinking of other recipes... the easiest would probably be Hiyashi Chuka, a noodle salad. It's made with cut cucumber, tomato, shredded egg (you have to mix an egg, add some salt a teaspoon of potato starch and a tbsp water to it then cook it thinly as soon as the pan is hot enough, resulting in two to three pieces of
f cooked egg. Easiest is to cut them in half, put them on top of each other and cut them in thin slices), cooked beef or ham slices (or any other meat you'd prefer) and finally soybean sprouts (you cut off the roots and cook them in sesame oil for a few minutes while making sure to not brown them in the process). The sauce I use is usually a combination of soy sauce (3 tbsp), white vinegar (4tbsp (rice vinegar is usually tastier)), sugar (2 tbsp), 70 ml water, 1/2 tsp grated ginger (or 1 tsp if you use powder) and sesame oil (1 tsp).
For noodles I preferably use Shirataki noodles, which are very low calorie but taste really nice. Those are easily prepared, as you only soak them in boiling water for 30 seconds. Either way, you let the noodles rest in a bit of the sauce so they soak it up while you prepare the rest. Cause it's a salad everything can be eaten cool as well.

@Gio: I saw that one in a manga once. If it weren't for the fact the egg was raw I'd actually try it :x (but you know, salmonella bacteria and all that...)

Yea... In Japan, everything is actually so incredibly fresh you can just do it. In other places, I'd be more careful too...
(Had salmonella once, from eggs "last weeks group probably left". Apparently more like last months group or something :x Cooked them, but not enough apparently. No fun, not at all.)

*glances at the latest exploding-Antares-rocket incident that was probably caused by some error in the old russian-style engine, and the Sojus taking off shortly after without any problems* I wonder if the new Russia-vs-West conflict will get some more research on space travel going. Stop it with the wars, prove your dominance with a race to Jupiter or something. GO!

So Nini's school (my high school :D) is currently having spirit week and today was celebrity day. Nini said she saw someone dressed up as Ten. Apparently the girl had a dress that was his trench coat and clothes, and had Tardis socks. Someone thought she was Pocahontas.
*snort laugh* What? :V
