Today I heard my uncle's missing.... Great. He's got schitzophrenia and my aunt keeps trying to get his house cleaned, so she gets people to check on him and clean stuff, but considering his paranoia she probably made him flee his home.
I really hope he's ok... he's not answering my calls so I'm really worried.

I have, he has gone travelling for a bit, so he's fine (thank goodness). I managed to reach him today, and he says he had a lot of fun discovering Amsterdam.

I dislike how the media is covering UKIP lately because a) it gives them more attention and b) for some stupid reason more people are now thinking they're actually okay and they are so incredibly not. Plus, Cameron and co. are now trying to take them seriously which means that others do. Or maybe some people are taking them seriously so Cameron and co. are which makes them seem more credible to the public :/.

Currently I am attempting to fight off a spiral into depression, as my cardiologist (heart-doctor) told me something yesterday that may well kill a dream I've had for as long as I can remember. Somehow I managed to keep it from hitting me too terribly hard yesterday, but this morning as I was waking up I think it must have finally sunk in for real.
I've always wanted to be a mother. For as long as I can remember, that's been my dearest dream. Yesterday, however, my cardiologist told me that I'd be at high risk with a pregnancy, that it could be damaging both to me and to the potential child. He also suggested that maybe my body knows this and that's why I haven't been able to get pregnant, despite over 6 years of trying. At the time, I made a fairly blithe comment about adoption or surrogacy, but the truth is that I cannot afford either--we're living paycheck to paycheck and have been for the entire time we've been together. Also we live in the US, so our chances of actually managing to get ahead are next to nil. I don't have a college degree. Archi does, but he hasn't gotten a job in the field he graduated from, and he got his diploma about 8 years ago. I did have a career field, but I can't go back to it anymore because I ruined my back. Neither of us can afford to go back to school, even though I know what I'd like to do. My Mom made a rather unhelpful comment about needing to create 'passive income streams'. I don't think she realizes that you need money to get those started--money Archi and I don't have and don't have a way to acquire.
OK, I need to stop talking about this before I risk waking up the rest of the household because I'm crying too much.

*hugs* I can imagine how you are feeling from the financial point as we are going through similar situation which is forcing us to leave the UK, we recently started using a credit card after 10 years of avoiding it, the only reason is that we are getting some extra money once the sale of our flat is complete then we can pay back.

About being a mother, Please keep your hopes up for something, both medicine and laws keep changing with time. You never know what opportunity can come up *hugs*

So, this morning I wake up at 9.30am with my phone ringing. My colleague, tells me she didn't wake up in time for work (she's supposed to be there at 9am), and asks me if I can fill in for her, right now............

I went to bed at past 4am last night.
I could've just said no, but I have this problem, where I can't say no to people >______> So I said yes D:

She lives in the city, but I live very close to work, I have no idea where she lives, but she says she couldn't make it to work before noon. Later, everyone at work told me that's not really true, if she hurried, she should've been able to be there by eleven, which is late, but still fine, since people don't show up for lunch until after 1pm. And there wasn't much to get ready this morning.

I hurried up and got to work at 10am. I was sooooooooooooooooooo sleepy.
It was a crap day at work too. I ended up crying due to frustration (crying in public is something I avoid as much as I can), because oven doesn't work right, the fast freezing machine doesn't work, the new ice cream machine is such crap, the owner is not respecting some of the stuff he said in the interview. When I started 3 months ago, it seemed like a nice place. Now all the staff is leaving, because the place sucks so much -_-
So doing my job is so much harder than it should be. I think I'll start looking for a new job, I don't think I can take this much crap for a long time.

I need money to rain over me so I can open my own pastry shop ;_;

I'm very tired right now, I dislike naps, but I need one right now.

I just really wish there was something I could realistically do sometime soon. Might be that my best bet would be to get a large enough place to have a room for a child and then sign up to be a foster parent. Not sure what all that would take either. Going to ask around and see if anyone I know has any advice.

I really wish I didn't live in the US--the richest third-world country on the planet.

*hugs cinna* too. Yeah if you're not happy with how the work conditions are and the owners aren't doing anything to try to improve it then you'll just end up bitter even when it's work you love. Hope it improves for you soon.

Took the bus home with Neo after we had been on the store, he was rather doubtful to get on the bus and so, but during the short trip he sat silently and calm. Then he was really happy to get off
I had walked him to the store but the snow was thawing and the road was covered in water. Thawing snow was something completely new, so of course Neo wanted to explore it like crazy, then there was an occasional leaf blowing around that he wanted to chase, then run through the water, and of course stand and sniff stuff for ages. And it leaked through my shoes so my feet were wet and ice cold T__T So I refused to walk back :x
