Loved the first episode - glad to see Olli somewhere else than on that island in the flashbacks, it was growing a bit stale for me. Also loved Sara's death - not because I have anything against her, but because main(-ish) characters seem to die so rarely these days.

The 2nd episode was a bit weak, but overall I'm excited by the new season. Thea training under Merlin will hopefully bring about some exciting conflicts.

Not really sure about the Flash so far - it's a bit on the boring side, honestly. Not to mention corny.

Probably gonna keep watching for now, but this is more down to my eternal optimism than anything else.

I'm really interested in seeing where this all goes. From what little I know of DC lore, Canary wasn't supposed to die that early, was she? If that's true, is Laurel going to take over the role? That's what is really confusing me about this.

Thea finally learning to kick ass was great and I like her father/daughter bonding with Malcolm Merlin a lot more than I'd have thought.
Also, Felicity in her new job was all sorts of fun. And of course her new boss has some not-so-nice intentions...
All in all the episode flowed really well.

That's what Marc Guggenheim (exectuive producer, and co-showrunner) has been hinting at heavily. Her interactions with Wildcat also hint towards that direction, he helped train her in the comics as well.

Same. Talk about unexpected. Episode itself was pretty good - lots of Felicity is always good, after all.

I am having a lot of feels after the last Arrow episode, I had to watch it with my owl plushie because I needed some comfort.

I like that they're dealing with their feelings, it's a thing we don't see enough.

I did like Diggle looking at Felicity and Oliver like his ship was sinking!

"Dear god, I have a type", yes, and so would nearly everyone with eyes while watching Brandon do that.

Felicity's dress, while expensive, was NOT flattering, at all, what were the costume department thinking??? She looked like she had been shortened. The fact that it's "couture" doesn't make it flattering if it doesn't suit your body shape, urgl. This is what happens when you're not 5'9 and have legs that go on for miles.
I don't even want to go into details about her hairstyle that went with it, it was terrible . I am really disappointed.

Ray, oh Ray, that prototype thing is trying so hard not to look like an Iron Man suit...

I don't have much to say about the flash, even if I think that Barry is digging a rather big hole, and I don't really like it.

Hime-chan basically hit on most of my thoughts about Arrow, and Flash... Well, Flash, while still awesome, kinda feels like it's not really going anywhere yet? Or it is, but it's pretty slow. I dunno :x
But! Flash vs Arrow, starts Dec 2nd

Yep, Hime-Chan pretty much said what needed to be said. One thing I gotta add:
You know this whole guy blindly buys (expensive) dress for girl and then she wears it? It. does. not. work. that. way. D: Seriously, every time I see that trope in a show or movie I feel like banging my head against the wall.
Plus points to Arrow for the end result actually looking bad. Minus points for no one actually noticing that in-series. XD

As for The Flash - I still don't really care too much for the series and its characters. I don't know, it's sort of ... bland?
