OMM: I really need to get to work figuring out how many and what type of cases I need for my NaNo effort this year. I will be writing another Persona 4/Conan crossover, but this time the main setting is Beika-cho. Megure-keibu has hired another young detective to go 'undercover' at Teitan High and try to find out where Shinichi disappeared to and why.

Something about Kodomo no Omocha (or at least its first 3 episodes) really feels mean spirited for some reason. For a show that looks like it's trying to be funny (with a protagonist who just wouldn't. shut. up.), I find it weird it actually affects me in a certain way. Then again, they already had a girl nearly drown (at the hands of her classmates), and Hayama did choke Sana, so it does try to reach some dramatic points.

EDIT: trying to watch the Zorro anime. They gave Zorro a bloody transformation sequence, and it has lightning sparkles all over the place

The beginning is pretty mean, then it gets light-hearted, especially in the anime. Sometimes it feels like it's completely forgotten what happened at the beginning. I've only seen what FUNi released, so not sure what the second half's like, but the manga kinda gets Uhh...Well, it's in the genre :V

Watching Mirai Nikki... So far not so tragic... but the protagonists... I can't tell which one between Yukii and Yuno is worse. They both deserve dying in pain!

I wonder, has there ever been anything in a series where no one knew going into a book or movie or whatever that it had a direct connection to that series? Because that would be awesome. And I don't mean cute references or evidence it takes place in a shared universe, I mean something to the equivalent for example, if a random sci-fi book about a frozen planet and a few chapters in it's revealed that it's about Hoth right after the original Star Wars trilogy but it wasn't said before release that it had anything to do with the the series. Something crazy like that.
