She keeps popping up, she was also in Beware the Batman for some reason.

Yeah, DC is pushing her on all fronts. Not bad. DC needs more famous female characters. EDIT: Count Vertigo is back for S3 too. The Werner Zytle version. This leads much more credence to my Outsiders War storyline thought.

Yeah but a lot of "which character gets in" stuff is done at more producer/planning level and at that stage a lot morphs for random reasons, so I'm just curious why she's the one who keeps getting tossed in. With Arrow I'd image it's a deficit of non-Batman and non-metahuman heroes. But in that Beware case it seems much more odd.

Well, In the New 52 comics, she is very closely linked to GA, so that's not surprising. She was very closely linked to Batman in the Pre-New 52 universe. While their relationship was taken to a new height in Beware, it is nonetheless true.

I'll take your word for it on GA, haven't read his new stuff. In terms of Batman, I'm well aware of their history. The thing is Batman has such a giant pool of sidekicks, him getting a new one from the Outsiders suggests there was some reason the studio of head staff wanted her specifically.

Well, the reason was probably, as i said, to push her forward and make her popular. Also, Brandon Routh has been cast as The Atom in S3. He was mentioned as going to school with Laurel and Ollie in S1, i remember. This is gonna be fun!! Katana, Atom, Count Vertigo 2... So many possibilities!!!!

So his character sounds interesting! I liked him in the Tomorrow People, and was a bit sad it got cancelled. He and Stephen (his cousin) had been trying to get him on Arrow for a while!

Well, Firestorm will fit the Flash appropriately. Also, I vote we keep the Arrow thread to discuss the Flash, we dont want to clutter the forums, unless you people think otherwise!

Corto Maltese set to be featured in Arrow S03E03, But what will they use it for? We know that Deadshot operated there for a while, but its other appearances are in the Cold War, so how will they modernize on that, I wonder??
