well, considering what Gosho said, Akemi is probably just "that daughter of the awesome/horrible nurse-figure woman" to Amuro (if u need an explanation to what it means with amuro mentioning that he met akemi).

Since, according to the manga (not Gosho interview), there was a closure on the whole Date accident case(with the guilty guy paying for his deed), i fully doubt this feud between Akai and Amuro has anything to do with Date!!! The point with the whole Date and amuro connection was only to give hints that amuro was in the police academy and possibly still loyal to the police. The one akai mentioned has something to do with either being a colleague of Furuya or someone close before he became a PSA member. ..

I also hope that amuro turns out to be an orphan. No more sibling/family stories!!! (Except with flashbacks) it's enough with the lovable Akai family(and Hondou)!!! ^^

Hmm I don't think so because it seems like Akemi was the one who told Haibara about Amuro and Akai... I wonder if Akai told Akemi. Amuro does say that he has met her, so it's a bit messy...

Atleast I'd imagine that Amuro would think more badly about someone he calls the "Hell Angel" if he's purely about taking down the org?
Then again maybe he thought of the "Hell Angel" as a hostage in the organisation for some reason (I seriously doubt that) and doesn't think badly of Elena... Akemi got killed after all, but we don't really know what he thinks of her... *Sigh*...[/quote] but we do know that akemi didn't mean enough for furuya to make him base his rivalry with Akai on her death!! That's a given fact! And seing how angry (hateful) amuro looked after hearing akais words:

If Amuro really was as angry towards Akai during their time in the org, did he decide to chill around doing nothing until it was revealed that Akai was FBI?

If what you're saying is true, will we continue this Bourbon arc stuff in the next arc? There's too much to know about Amuro but since as of now he does seem to be working against the org, the next bad guy needs to appear. I personally believe that it was Date still right now, and their pre-death rivalry was something more akin to Amuro hating the FBI for being there (this could be a problem since then Amuro would have just taken Akai to the boss, I guess), Akemi involved one way or another since she seems to have known them both. There should be no reason for Amuro to hate Akai for her death anyway. In the orgs eyes she failed to get the cash and Gin was the one who killed her. If that was the reason for their rivalry then Dates death, in which they seemingly have nothing to do with, would be more easily accepted as the current reason as to why Amuro hates Akai?

I doubt Date is going to be completely irrelevant at the moment, and new arcs do tend to introduce new characters so someone from the past will have a chance to appear then. It would still be linked to this Bourbon stuff so I don't know what to think about that.

apparently you prefer making theories without taking into account what Gosho said in his interviews,so i just hope you won't be even more disappointed at how Gosho handles bourbon's story...

@k11chi:when Amuro was a kid Elena was in the BO,working for them,so the most logical way for them to meet is Amuro being raised inside the BO.
And apparently you prefer believeing in your own theories,that doesn't have any proof in the manga(concerning the love triangle thing,or Amuro being the second brother...),but you don't believe in what Gosho says during his interviews,concerning his own story?that is weird.

I won't believe that Akemi has nothing to do with what was going on between Akai and Amuro prior to Dates death for now... Atleast Amuro himself saying that he has met Akemi already debunks that Amuro himself would have nothing to do with her.

We don't really know the history of the organisation, I'm sure it's not a prison cell or anything. I find it rather odd for Elena to say goodbye like that...

I'm almost 100% sure that we will get some kind of origin story for Amuro though.
Hopefully he's an orphan, so that his parents won't get involved if they're new characters.

why was the last text sent to amuro about how they should meet sometimes? that only indicates that the last time they saw each other was at the academy(or around that time). In other words, they weren't that close to each other for amuro to hate akai for whatever reason u have in mind regarding Date.

and i believe that amuro will work together with conan, but maybe not neccessary with the whole team conan(since Akai is a part of it and he is still debating on whether he should kill him or focus on the BO). All the other important backstories(about amuro) might reveal themselves little by little during the next Arc(with maybe a new character(BO member) revealed and hopefully completely loyal to the BO).

Okay, let me be more specific: I though Jodie's car had a flat tire from the impact of that rock earlier? Or was it James's car? Anyway, is it possible to still drive with a tire with the air almost or already all leaked out?

that's true, i forgot about pointing that out myself but i guess they just drived slowly and careful (Camel is skilled on that after all) since they aren't being chased anymore and have a lower chance of creating an accident, but since air is still going out they probably stopped midway and got support by Agasa or something since we didn't get to see him. ..

EDIT: thinking about Agasa, since conan was whispering to Agasa about the situation,... that means that conan threw the truth about okiya's Identity right at his face!! I'd love to see his shocked face when hearing about that xD (i mean has been working with him all this time and not knowing anything about him)

Agasa should know Okiya from the start. because its him who make neck-shaped voice changer. I think Conan whisper to Agasa for voice changing mask Yusaku use.

yea that's true, totally forgot about the voice changer!!>_< i didn't know he was good at keeping secrets this well and act like he doesn't know, especially after those numerous "shinichi" shout outs he always make, in front of unsuspecting people, when calling for conan. (Even though it's not related to the actual story, one example is during Movie 9)

I think Agasa was aware that Okiya is Akai,for a long time,because Okiya uses a voice-changer made by Agasa.i'm pretty sure Conan told him the truth at some point.For example during the MT case Agasa was part of the plan.

About the tire flat, they wouldn't have time to change it or fix it since they turned back right after the corner so they most likely just drive slow. They would need a car service to fix he tire.

1) Telling Vermouth that he confirmed Akai is still alive?
2) Going to laugh at Gin that he didn't kill Akai at all?

By the way, can Conan and Akai guarantee Bourbon won't reveal this to Gin or else Mizuhashi Rena will meet her doom, the wedge of steel planted in BO will go to waste, their huge planning of faking Akai's death will go meaningless.
