Just saw episode 1 and mad hype Kindaichi is back and Miyuki got kidnapped again!

Just watched it too and I enjoyed it a lot. 2 murders and 1 kidnapping in one episode, no time to be bored.

I loved the new episode of this series. This is pretty much the modernization I hoped for from the series. I can't wait to see the rest of this case and if it lives up to the previous versions of Kindaichi.

Anyone else notice that this series is a lot more miyuki focused, now she is the one who naraites the show, and in general gets more screen time.

There's also a new manga called "Takato shounen no jikenbo" or Kindaichi: Takatos side, 16 chapter manga case. The ending is epic but the case was... Really bad...

I'm really glad this is on Crunchyroll; I will definitely watch this series sometime. The old series' production values were definitely in need of an update, so this series could really be something special. (It's also quite timely, with our Conan/Kindaichi project heating up)

Next episode was kindasorta better than last weeks I guess... I think the case is a bit lifeless but even if this ends like this, there's still more to come...

Biggest problem with the series IMO. This case is decent, but the characters are terrible. They don't even really have personalities at all, and aren't funny or likeable in any shape or form...
