ESPIONAGE: Round Three (Spies & Informants Win)

I can say breva and Kamite are certainly not the spies, I don't know really what to say in our defense... If we were the spies it would have been plain stupid to try to help save Kain and Jellitto since I started to suspect they were the detectives. I would like to know why those teams can't be the spies, specially Miaka and Kleene sice them voting random from a list of 10 instead of using the actual list doesn't make that many sense.
We only have 2 phases to catch the spies, we can't waste them lynching civilians

On our defense, both Jecka and I have been busy, and from the previous rounds you may already know that I'm not the type of person who actively participates in the thread (due to being busy all the time and my incompatible time zone). Now, I am taking my time just to post here, and that post was actually my first post for the round. I only post when I have something important to say, so better take it seriously. If you don't believe me enough, you can ask Jecka.

Voting team 7 was based on elimination, but like I said it's hard to nominate other teams without revealing the contents of our list. I said I'd vote for team 6 if team 7 weren't the spies. Also, I find it odd that the suspects in Jd-'s post are in my list of teams that are certainly not the spies.

@shinichi'sapprentice: Why or why not do you think we should vote team 7?

MY top suspects are Team 5 and Team 7. as of right now, my vote still can't be changed.

Team 5 is because of all the evidences.

Team 7, if Day 1 no kill ends up really being a strategy. If i'm going through voting Team 7, it means that Team 4 shall be accused of being the informants. and i shall get back to your statement. that is, if we're still alive, Day 5.

I will be able to but I won't have much time either, and my time zone sucks. It's 2 AM here right now. When are you planning to talk to me tomorrow? If I won't be available during that time, you can always ask Jecka. I still stand on what I said about Team 5 not being the spies.

Do not vote Team 5 if you don't want to waste this phase.
I based it on our list and I wouldn't bother staying up and spending my time catching up on this round despite being busy if I didn't have decisive evidence or a very good reason to.

Teams being suspected in the thread that are certainly NOT THE SPIES:
Team 8: Jecka and miyano_shiho (just so you remember not to vote us)
Team 5: RoboG55 and Meme
Team 3: shinichi'sapprentice and googleearth
Team 11: Kleene Onigiri and Miaka

Did you just eliminate three additional teams...? I can understand one, but three? You must have access to some seriously valuable inside information to be able to definitively rule out three other teams with certainty when no one else has picked up on any sort of evidence you're dealing with. In other words: Color me skeptical.

How likely is it that Team 4 are the spies? I am actually considering them too.

You said before that you used my and Dumytru's lists to make determinations about who you thought was suspicious. If you suddenly think KL & I are the Spies, doesn't that invalidate what you already said? I'm having trouble following where you're coming from on this.

Moving on, I already posted reasons half a day ago about why to not waste votes on Conan-chandesune/Togop and Kamite/breva. To reiterate:

Conan-chandesune & Togop: I feel like they are very likely civilians. I also feel like I can usually get a good read on Conan-chandesune (and vice versa?) and he seems to be a civilian to me. Plus, if last round is any indication, I would've been dead already if he had been a Spy. Togop has been one of the foremost organizers of our civilian reasoning efforts, so I haven't really had reason to suspect either of them. Everything checks out with this team, including their posts and activity history. I wouldn't consider them very strong suspects for Spies.

Kamite & Breva: Probably civilians. Breva interceded and tried to help save Kain & Jellitto at the last minute despite it being obvious who would be arrested without her stepping in to help. If they were the Spies, it would have made no sense to get involved at all. Kamite was also one of the people who helped ensure a tie at the last minute during Day 1. As with dumytru, it makes no sense for a Spy to intercede in trying to save civilians, especially twice.

For your nomination specifically, the behavior profile really doesn't match up. It's as if, with them as the Spies, they had forgotten which role they were for virtually the entire game. Why would they not have killed on Day 1? They were obviously around. There is nearly no tactical advantage whatsoever to not killing a civilian on Day 1. Not only is it the safest day to carry out such an action, the less civilians = the better for the Spy team. That is a big part of the bottom line, is it not? If that's so, then why did Kamite and Breva intercede and try to arrange ties on both occasions that a civilian was on the verge of being arrested? It wasn't just once but twice that they saved and nearly saved, respectively, a civilian team. If you consider that and the fact that there was no kill on the first day, for them to be the Spies, they have literally saved more civilians than they've killed. Exactly when would they, as the Spies, be planning to make their move? Were they planning to help prolong the game indefinitely?

Any suspicions you have about any other team should be completely independent of myself & KL. I feel like we're wasting time going over this yet again, but one more time: It's obvious that KL and I are civilians. We nominated Jellitto/Kain on Day 2 and continuously asked for them to come forward to determine if they really were the Spies. We got virtually no activity from them on Day 2 or Day 3, and thus our suspicions were confirmed even if it was ultimately to the detriment to the team.

Starting to wonder how the rules in terms of what can be said can even be enforced :/. There has to be some way to get people to at least PM the GM if there's something they suspect they may not be able to say because it doesn't seem particularly fair at times.

(I don't know the roles btw, so this is said without any such background knowledge)

Normally, revealing "your" list outright and giving such specifics would be a cardinal violation of the rules, but I have a feeling that you don't actually have a list, so it doesn't really concern me very much. However, in the interest of fairness to the other teams, I'll edit the post. You can take it up with the GM if you'd like.

but, in the end, they voted for Team 7. it could only be an honest mess up, or the detectives thought they'll die anyway so as last clue for us, they voted them again.

Just saying quickly that due to a pm error I never got their change in vote just to clear up that mistake.
